Menus that Made History: 100 iconic menus that capture the history of food Hardcover – October 8, 2019

I bought this as a birthday present for my wife. She has all the major cooks books in her collection Example: the Joy of Cooking, Mastering the Art of French cooking, The Food Lab. I tried to get this book new in “hardcover” and couldn’t find it anywhere. eBay and Amazon were the only places that had it in “hardcover” but the condition of the book was the next obstacle. This was the best one that I chose that met every Criteria. And it’s basically new!!!

If you like history and cooking, this is a great read!

While a few menus turned my stomach, I thoroughly enjoyed this fascinating look at menus through the ages. And I really, really want to make and eat the Gateau Concorde.

Fun casual read. Each section is a few pages and can be read in any order. Quick and easy time filler
