Yes I would say so. The way I hold GBP sterling is I actually have the fold of the £ note in the centre of the wallet and push down the 2 ends of the note to the edge.. It can hold 10-20 notes easily. My wallet is also 6 Years old and looks brand new still inside and out.

Will an Oyster card work on London transport card readers while inside the wallet?
