Bought this to use on my Daytona Jack great quality

I bought these pucks for a slightly off-label use… creating custom jack pads to use with my jack and jack stands when working on my car. I use one puck, unmodified, with my floor jack to both protect the metal of the car from getting scratched by the jack, and also to provide just a little extra lift from my low-profile jack. I modified four of the pucks for use with my Esco jack stands which have flat, circular tops which are perfect for use with these pucks. I cut a modified V-shaped groove deep into each puck so the pinch weld on the car could fit into the groove on the puck, thereby allowing the inner frame rail of the car to rest on the puck and be supported by the jack stand without any weight being applied to the pinch weld (so there’s no chance of the pinch weld bending). To do this I used a vise to clamp down on each puck securely and then used a standard hacksaw to cut the grooves. The final product works exactly like I wanted. These probably work well for hockey too… but I wouldn’t know about that.

The item is perfect for hockey training purposes and for an excellent price. We did purchase this item for a different application/purpose, but unfortunately it did not work as intended. Have included photos to show that alternative purpose in hopes others will not purchase this item for that purpose. The puck was to be used as a rubber cap on a 2-ton bottle jack to prevent metal-on-metal contact. After drilling a hole into the puck with a 1 ¼” spade bit to a depth to cover the jack cap, it fit perfectly on top. However, the pucks failed when put under the vehicle’s weight. Not the fault of the product, since that is not what it was intended for. Good news, still have a few usable pucks to use for a quick game of pick-me-up street/ice hockey.

Used these for something on my old truck and they are great! They’re durable and thick. Perfect size and light too.
