For the price, it's a great deal

Just as the description said. The color scheme is from the greatest squadron I ever served with. VA-56 Champions on the USS Midway. This item had to come all the way from Japan, which is unique in that Japan is where I was stationed with this squadron. Great price and it was very fast considering how far away is have to travel to me. Great Job

Most of the surface detail lines on the body, wings, and weapon hard points are raised instead of engraved. Not too surprising in a basic kit like this. Just wish Amazon would have mentioned it in the product details. I've bought other Hasagawa kits at this price point and the lines have all been engraved. Otherwise, it's a nice beginner kit. The lines are simple enough that I'll use it for scribing practice before tackling some of the more detailed vintage kits I've picked up lately.

As described in title, this plane has raised pannel line not engraved as normal. I was very surprised. It is the first time after when I was sooooo young... It is very weird experience. Only engraved pannel lines were on main wings. Not much. Decals are good. It is only pleasure from this kit. Very easy to assemble but need to lot of time to fix using model knife and putty. Detail... not bad but worse than I expected and paid. Do not buy this kit if you want high quality and detail. It is a good sample for attempt to apply all decals on plane. That's it. (I eliminated all of hasegawa in my shopping list).

Nice kit I have built this and italeri both were nice this ones fit is better
