Effective Noise Blocker
This sealant was essential for my soundproofing project, effectively sealing gaps to significantly reduce noise transmission between rooms. I found it surprisingly easy to apply and clean up, and I love that it remains flexible to maintain a tight seal over time.

It's sound sealant- couldn't hurt
This item's performance is difficult to quantify. I bought it because it's specifically designed for sound insulation, and I have to assume the accolades it receives are accurate. Easy to apply, but the price was expensive. Probably could've gotten it cheaper, but needed it right away. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Extremely hard to squeeze out of the caulking gun
It was extremely hard to squeeze this out of the caulking gun. My contractor who is very strong almost gave up. About 1/2 through, it got a bit easier. My guess is that it dried out because it was old. No wonder the price was so low. I'm not going to buy it from this place again.

Acoustic sealant only. Not a general purpose caulking.
Toolability is quite low, like other acoustic sealants. Never dries in the middle. On purpose. This is how it stays super flexible.

Works Ok.
First of all, yes you should follow what everyone is saying on here, you will need a larger caulk gun. This caulk is really thick which is probably why they put it in a larger container. This product also was shipped in good condition, I had no issues with the packaging. This caulk is somewhat difficult to apply since not only it's a thick caulk but also handling a larger caulk gun at the same time, but it's definitely worth the effort. There is a difference in noise. I live in a townhome where the bedroom faces towards the street so not only my neighbors are really close to me, but they are also really really loud. This caulk helped fill the gaps of my windows and muffle the noise. I feel like it worked at first but I don’t know if it’s because it settled in or weather change but I feel like it’s not as effective as when I put it on. If you have a noise problem, this caulk will help but not completely eliminate the problem.
