Finally a lens hood for my M.Zuiko 9-18mm that's not too pricey
I want to begin the review by stating that despite the semi-gloss finish, this lens hood is made of plastic. I was hoping that it would be made of aluminum at least but it seems like the original Olympus LH55B is also plastic. I've recently been migrating my camera set up to OM-System micro 4/3 from my Sony mirrorless with adapted vintage lenses. The lens hood reminds me a lot of the one that's on my vintage Asahi Super Takumar 35mm. The vintage look of the lens hood fits very well with the overall aesthetics of my new OM-5 camera. For your reference, the dimensions of the lens hood (once attached) are 20mm (0.75") tall/back to front x 80mm (3.125") long x 65mm (2.5") wide. Before I found this one, I tried several third-party lens hoods but none of them seem to flare out far enough to not cause corner vignettes. This lens hood works perfectly with the M.Zuiko 9-18mm and causes zero corner vignettes at the widest focal length of 9mm. Highly recommended!

Snug fit
Lightweight, screws right into the M.Zuiko Digital 12-50mm f3.5 lens. Made of plastic but durable. a lens cap can still be used with this mounted if desired.

Very tight fit ...
I've ordered JJC accessory lens hood products before with no issues. This lens hood, however, binds when trying to fit and does NOT readily click into place. A touch of silicone-base lubricant helped but shouldn't be required if the fit was proper. [this is updated from my inital1-star review]
