Bang for the buck
Steiner glass is known for its quality. I used a much more expensive model in the military and was always impressed with them then. Purchased these for use around my house (I don't have a DOD budget), and they have proven to be outstanding also. Very light weight and compact with excellent clarity. Small enough to wear the carry case on your belt if you were a hiker. I have kept mine in the glovebox of my UTV.

Excellent tiny binos.
Awesome tiny binos. I thought for sure I d be returning these. But they are great. Theyre almost as good as my 20x50s. Clear. Sharp. And I can see at really good distances. The left eye is adjustable as well as the center. I think some people are overlooking that adjustment. You can also roll the eye cups up for a tighter distance. My only beef is they were too cheap to put eye covers in the package! Despite that, I love these!

A LOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCKI!
A lot of bang for the buck! Pros: Excellent optics. Good brightness, detail and contrast. Very little color fringing. Widefield eyepieces for an immersive view. Excellent durable but compact design. Looks much more expensive than they are. Comfortable with lots of grippy surfaces. Pre-assembled neck strap. Cons: Widefield eyepieces are a bit fiddly to position. Some users may find it difficult to get their eyes into the "sweet spot". The diopter adjustment does not stay put. You will have to check this every time you use these. Focusing has a fair amount of backlash so if you overshoot the focus you will have to reverse the knob more than you would like. Rubber eye cups are a bit floppy and cheap looking. Lastly, the focusing is done by moving the objective lens in and out. This means the area surrounding the objective is covered in silicone grease. Whenever you clean the lenses, if you are not extremely careful, you may pick up some of this grease on the cleaning cloth and transfer it to the lens. You will then find it extremely difficult or impossible to get the greasy smudge off the lens. There is an additional disadvantage in that the area around the objectives easily collects dust or sand and will be nearly impossible to clean. Overall: Optically great binoculars for the money. But mechanically not great. Still, if you don't have $1,000 for Zeiss, Leitz, or Swarovski, these are a pretty good option.

Finally a nice small set
Light weight, smooth adjustments, great sharp image, great value. And not made in that C word country not to memtion the great warranty. Love these glasses. For bow hunting tho i need an 8x set so guess what, I'll order myself a set of those as well. Love Steiner and i will stay with them. I have a set of Zeiss that are great but the rubber eye cups dry rotted off and its a bear trying to communicate with them. They were suppose to send me some replacements but that never happened. Bye bye Ziess, hello Steiner.

lightweight, easy to adjust, great on hikes
These are wonderful binocs for anyone who is just walking around. I'm a birder, but I do a lot of my birding while I am doing something else --on walks and hikes, or bike rides, or kayaking. For those purposes, these are perfect. They are very light-weight, they adjust easily, and best of all, you can stick them in a big pocket or hitch them to a belt without getting loaded down. They do not have good close focus -- at best 12 feet and really more like 15, so if you are doing a serious birding expedition where you see things up close, you will need something else. But for more casual birding or wildlife views, these are excellent.

Great value
I have several Stiener binoculars for boating. I purchased these for my wife's birdwatching and kayaking. Very light and very sharp, easy focusing. Great value for real quality optics. Great compact binoculars for way more than just birdwatching!

Thank goodness for Steiner's warranty
I purchased these Steiner Safari 10x26 Ultrasharp compact binoculars from Amazon back in 2022. They never worked correctly from day one. It appears that the center hinge that keeps the binoculars open when holding them up to your eyes is either broken or missing. I'm turn, you would have to use both hands to use them, hence, defeating the purpose and usefulness of them being compact. I put them in a closet and forgot about them. Recently I pulled them out and read up on Steiner's lifetime Heritage Warranty. No receipt needed, just the serial number, which is on the binoculars. I filed a claim less than 48 hours ago, and received a prepaid shipping label in my email this morning. Going to return them now (I requested repair or replacement). Will update this review with outcome when I get repaired (or replacement) binoculars back.

Excellent for the price, if you wear glasses the view is not optimal....contact lenses best.
Lovely quality very light weight and when focussed even up to 1000 metres, a very crisp and clean view. Static birds and slow moving...very very good...the perfect light weight companion and probably the best in it's class. I bought them as unboxed but new in mint condition. The focus is very quick and the clarity is superb. Highly recommended A very fair price, and quick delivery The description is very accurate..amazing
