Mono Mixer & Stereo Mixer functionality is completely separate
Mono Mixer & Stereo Mixer functionality is completely separate. Its as if they are two completely different mixers build into the same case. There is no volume control for OutPut1 (the Mono Mix out). The Output 1 jack is unbalanced Mono not a stereo balanced output. The OutPut2, REC, & Head Phone jacks only work for the Stereo Mixer. If you want to use the Mono Mixer & Stereo Mixer together you will need to use an external T/S - 1/4" unbalanced to T/R/S 1/8" balanced cable and rout the OutPut1 jack to one of the 5 stereo input jacks (like in the picture) effectively making it a 4 channel mono, 4 channel stereo mixer. It would have been great if they just included a switch to rout this internally. Aside for these draw backs, its a small, sturdy metal cased mixer, that is lite weight, low/no noise mixer. For the price it's totally worth the money.

Pairs well with bass guitar and two Yamaha HS8 monitors
I bought this unit b/c I am a keyboardist, turned bassist. I needed to make use of the Yamaha HS8 monitors that I had from a previous set-up. I'm just learning how to play bass guitar and didn't want to spend a ton on an amp, yet. So, I purchased this, in hopes of being able to use the monitors as a pair. For my application, this thing works wonderfully well, when coupled with a Hosa YPP-111 1/4" TS to Dual 1/4" TSF Y Cable and two 10' 1/4 cables!! I used the Hosa cable because it's a mono Y cable. And, as most may or may not know, most bass guitars send out a mono signal. At any rate, the sound is beautiful and the mixer takes up very minimal space. Glad I made this purchase!!

Just the right tool for my needs
I use this handy mixer in my professional musical theatre setup. I play guitar and bass. My dual-dual/stereo signal chain consists of two iPads whose dual signals from the headphone outputs are mixed with this mixer and sent to a pair of small floor monitors and from there to the front of house. This mixer also allows for a separate mono 4 channel 1/4” input to single mono 1/4 output should the need arise. The mixer’s size, quality (well built) and functionality are perfect for my needs.

For the price, Superb!
Unit itself is solid build. Knobs are kinda plastic/cheap feeling. Some have nice smooth action and some don’t. Sound quality seems fine although I havent blasted all the channels at peak. For the price, I highly recommend it!

Disappointing
Half of the mixer doesnt work at all. The side for ¼ inch audio input is dead

Good quality mixer, easy to use
This is exactly what I needed to combine sound from 5 different videos and output to a single pair of headphones.Allows you to adjust the volume for each input and the headphones. Very easy to use, no noticeable deterioration of sound quality.
