Amazon Basics 6 Piece hand towels for bathroom, Fade Resistant 100% Cotton Hand Towels, soft absorbent bathroom hand towels 6 - Pack (26''x16''), Navy Blue

First off I need to say that I bought a lot of these towels in Black, and in Grey.....I washed them (separately) before putting them in my closet. What a mess! The lint that came off of these was crazy...my washer was loaded with the fuzz as well as my dryer, and when I pulled them out, I always shake them, and again, the fuzz went all over and my laundry areas needed to be swept. Several of them also came apart at the edges. I ALWAYS keep packaging, but this time I threw it all away or I would return them. Never again! I will also put this on the review for the grey towels.

I was a little bit cautious about ordering these towels because so many of the reviews mentioned problems with lint. That was not a problem with the towels I received. I washed them before using and used the second rinse feature on my washer. There was no lint or fuzz on the washer or on the towels. They are not super soft, but I find them absorbent enough for hand towels. They are quite attractive in the teal green and I view them as a good buy.

Based upon the rave reviews I had hoped this would turn out to be an exception to the "you get what you pay for" rule. Alas, such is not the case. I purchased the set of towels in navy blue. The color is beautiful but the washcloths are thin, lack absorbency, and worse of all, they shed! After three washings the dryer trap is still loaded with blue lint, and tiny blue threads still persist on my skin after using them. Hopefully I will eventually reach the magic number of washings to make these usable; if not, they'll make some very pretty rags.

After reading most reviews I thought these towels would end up being torn up before I even got to use them just by washing them. I had absolutely no fraying or ungodly amount of lint. I haven't used them yet, but seeing as how these will only be used in my RV I have no doubt they will do the job.

Kitchen towels have a limited life span in a kitchen that gets a lot of use. I like to change them out every few years or so for a fresh look and feel.I simply hang them over the oven handle and pin them invisibly from the back with a couple large safety pins.These towels are very economical for that. They’re 100% cotton and have a very classic look that is easy on the eyes. The color in the listing is well depicted. Looks great in my kitchen where I have a red/crimson/burgundy theme going throughout.Really love them straight out of the box. Will update if anything comes up. Hope this review helps you make a decision :)

I bought these towels to use for my Airbnb a year ago and they are still going strong. Guests have mentioned that the quality of the linens for my unit are good and not cheap. They have stood the test of time, being washed multiple times a week for a full year and are still nice to use. I will order these towels again when needed. I order all Amazon Basics brand for sheets and towels for my unit.

I have washed these towels about 6-8 times, and they are still bleeding dye. I guess that's how they get them to be "fade-resistant"... they put so much dye on them that they never fade. They also spew fuzz forever. After several washes, I felt that I should be able to wash them with the regular wash again - and boy was I wrong. I had to pick off fuzz from all the other items that were in with those towels. Pretty disappointed with this purchase. The price, of course, is pretty nice. But, to me, not worth the pain that came along with it. Maybe I would try the white towels from AmazonBasics, but I certainly wouldn't buy these again.

These are surprisingly great towels, given the price. I use them in my massage practice, they’re a good medium weight and work well dry or wet for hot towel treatments. Seem well made, holding up nicely. If I had a complaint, it’s that the tags are this weird super-rough sharp-edged paper (?) and don’t soften at all but are kind of difficult to remove without damaging the towel itself. After some time delicately working with cuticle scissors I have gotten the tags off, but what a pain. Fix that, and these are perfect.

Great price for decent quality, nothing wrong with these at all EXCEPT they are not the size advertised! They might have been before washing since I forgot to measure before washing for first use...they measured 24x15 after washing and are advertised at 26x16. I suspect they were smaller than that prior to washing as I can't see them shrinking a full 2 inches in length and they were washed on cold. This is the reason I removed one star because I ordered these specifically because of the size! Otherwise they are soft, fluffy, well made better quality than anything else you'll find at this price.

I ordered 3 packs in black. They looked and felt great when they arrived. After I washed them (I don't use towels unless I wash them first) I noticed that almost every towel had multiple places where the threads were pulled. Since I washed them in a load by themselves, there was nothing that could have snagged the towel. I have purchased and washed other brands of towels from Amazon and this has never happened.

I love these towels!!...great value for the $$$....just a perfect size.....much thicker material then I expected, and they have a very good absorbency...I have only recently purchased these black set of towels but they have no signs of fading....They work very well in all areas of the home ...they even fit perfectly on the back of a lazy boy recliner for your head....I did receive fast shipping ....I would recommend these less expensive towels for home, travel, gym, or gifts. I will be ordering more of these towels in different colours.

Husband thinks he's the princess who slept under 7 peas. Said our hand towels are too rough, they are a waffle pattern and quite "sturdy", is how I would put it. He's a good guy so I bought these towels for him. He's very pleased. I must say that they are good to wash, (wash towels before using them, any brand, it will not absorb if it's not prewashed) no discoloration, are a nice color, and are super soft. I'm glad he complained otherwise I wouldn't have gone on the hunt and found these. I've bought some more, different sizes and foot mat and they are lovely too. The price is also very good.
