A great compact thermometer that is simple and easy to set up! Had this same one for several years, and it worked perfectly, until I accidentally dropped it. Searched everywhere for this same one. Most others come with all the "bells and whistles" for outdoor temp, rain, wind, but when you can get all that from your smartphone apps, I'll stick with this simple device!

I have purchased Acu-rite products in the past and have had great luck with them. However, I believe this item is defective. The thermometer works perfectly, but the hygrometer shows that the humidity level is either 1% or 22%, even when by my humidifier. It consistently shows both high and low humidity levels at 1%. Unfortunately, I threw out the box and instructions for this item so I can't return it. *Edit: It's actually perfect, apparently my workplace is actually that dry.

Very happy with this device. Works properly in a variety of settings, indoors, outdoors, refrigerator. Closed container. The hi/lo feature is a real plus! A very good magnet on the back that holds well. Comes with a single AAA battery. Mine has been working for more than 5 months on the same battery with no issues at all.

I use this Hygrometer to cross check a basement dehumidifier. Readings are spot on. Easy to see and magnetic back allows attachment to any metal surface.

I learned that my home is way more humid than I thought. I don't have another one so I can't gauge how tood it is but it seems to work fine. I love the fact that it came with a battery. The only thing I hate is the stand won't come out easily. it is able to lean on it's own on a hard surface but if you're sitting it elsewhere where you would need the stand it doesn't work.
