This vacuum is terrific, worth the money
This vacuum is terrific and well worth the money spent. Note, this is a Metropolitan Vacuum. I am not sure why it's named "UMtropolitian" I also have a Dyson vacuum but I don't want to use it in the garage for the cars. This Metropolitan vacuum has a lot of suction power. This configuration is a good value because it includes the wheel dolly, this really is a required option, plus 24 feet of hose, and a lot of accessories. Also included is a wall hanger for the vacuum itelf, hoses and accessory bag. You also must get this accessory which is sold separately Metro Vacuum MVC-200D Metro 4.5-Inch Hand Held Turbine Driven Rotating Brush With this hand held turbine the Metropolitan is far better than my Dyson at vacuuming my carpeted stairs!

The Vac I have been looking for.
I really love my new Metropolitan Vac. It's perfect in my garage to use for detailing my autos. The durable, expandable hoses, and every attachment I could need, make work easier so that I can keep the vac in one place while moving around inside the car or my truck. It was exactly what I was looking for to replace my aging Shop Vac. The small canister design that helps it to easily pack away on the wall with the provided mount and that it's made in the USA were also key selling points for me.

Vacuum Sucks. Attachments suck.
I am a professional car detailer and use this for my business. Firstly, i want to say for a vacuum as a whole, this has been a great product. I’ve use it nearly every day for roughly 6 months about 4 hours each day and it’s still running strong. Gotta blow out the hoses every once in a while but that’s too be expected when they’re used this much. Only have to change the filters ever 1-2 weeks, so they last a good while and only half full when I change them. I’ve had a couple gripes with the attachments though. First is the hose. The hose is long and flexible at first use, but there’s been a couple issues with it. First weird thing is that, with a hose rated for this vacuum, you’d think that it could be use for all uses that this vacuum has. When attaching the hose to the blower side of the vacuum, I noticed that after use, the hose seemed like it had shriveled up pretty bad near the end that it was connected to the vacuum at, and was very hot upon touch. The heat was to be expected, but you’d think that the hose would last 5 minutes while attached without a problem, but, idk just seemed weird. Next hose failure was after almost 6 months with this vacuum, I’ve had multiple places on the hose bust near the ends (pictures of tape but not undoing the tape because I don’t want the hose to completely come apart). This really stinks because I’ve duct taped them but now debris keeps getting stuck in the tape and creates a constant need to clear debris, no matter how tight I try to make it. Next issue is the corner attachment that most people use (pictures). I’ve had it break twice the same way. First time I thought that maybe something crushed it so I got some hedge shears a cut a new slant. A month or so later, the same thing happened. Not cool, makes it really hard to detail cars when a quarter of the attachment is missing. Pros: -picks up debris very well -pretty long and flexible hose to start -light and easy to take to mobile jobs Cons: -hose attachments seems good but breaks easily. For almost $50 per 6 feet of hose, you’d think it would do better. -corner attachment acts like cheap plastic Pro Tips -If using the blower after the vacuum, either have a separate hose or blow the hose for 15-20 seconds to get rid of any dust/dirt/sand that may be stuck inside the hose, otherwise you’re just going to blow dirt everywhere Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, just a few gripes that mean I probably won’t be buying OEM attachment replacements parts

Get off the fence and pull theteigher and get this!
I was going to buy air compressor to use to blow my Harley dry and use some air tools. I found myslef not needing air tools so I needed vac to do the inside of my car and since this blows as well this does both. I was on the fence about price but I am very very pleased with the performance of this unit and all of the attachments it comes with. I think it's worth the money

good suction limited instructions
on the positive side the vacuum works great - lots of suction I was surprised that at this price the instructions were very limited, it did not come with any product warranty or registration information. The canister also had a small dent. So great product but at this price I think it needs a little more attention to the details

Open box/damaged/loose items
Arrived, obviously having been already opened and returned. . Wasn’t properly re-packaged. Loose parts inside of the vacuum. Yes, loose parts inside of the vacuum!! When turned upright to shake loose parts out, a spring cam out. Something else is still loose, but can’t be retrieved.

Powerhouse
Powerhouse! Gave it to a friend because I unfortunately bought a 110V instead of the 220V which I needed and he has not stopped raving since he’s been using it. Good job guys! I’m sure you may have a more updated one by now.

Perfect!!!
I love this vacuum! I use it all the time. The are almost too many tools, but that's is also great, because you have the right tool for the right application! I could right a very long review for this, but it really isn't necessary. The ONLY CON I have for this vacuum is: The metal pipes on the canister for inlet and outlet, the edges are pretty thin and a little sharp in some areas. It is really only a problem when transporting, I worry about it possibly tearing into my seats when transporting. BUT all I did was grab some foam and a rubber band, put them on the ends, and WALA! That's the only complaint I have for this, but it is so minor I wouldn't worry about.
