I bought this cooler for home use and have been genuinely impressed. Cooling performance is strong, especially once the pads are fully wet. Within 15–20 minutes, the room starts feeling noticeably cooler, and even from 8–10 feet away the airflow is excellent. What I liked most: Powerful air throw – suitable for medium to large rooms Good cooling with honeycomb pads Low noise compared to many desert coolers Large tank means fewer refills Easy movement with wheels, even when filled Auto-fill feature is very convenient Build looks modern and sturdy The cooler gives best results with proper ventilation / fresh air flow, as all air coolers do. Small suggestion: initial setup takes a little attention (wetting pads, wheel fitting, positioning), but once done it performs really well. Overall, a very satisfying purchase and great value in peak summer. Recommended for anyone looking for a powerful home cooler.

Cover Fitment Issues: The cover's inability to close properly is a recurring annoyance, requiring undue force to secure it in place. Furthermore, its bent appearance near the corners suggests a lack of precision in the manufacturing process, leading to frustration during use. Mosquito Net Blockage: Examination reveals that portions of the mosquito netting are completely sealed off, raising doubts about the effectiveness of ventilation. Such blockages could impede airflow to the honeycomb pad, potentially compromising the unit's cooling capabilities and placing undue strain on the fan mechanism. Body Gaps: Upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that there are multiple areas where the various components of the body fail to align seamlessly. These visible gaps suggest a lack of attention to detail during assembly, detracting from the product's overall aesthetic and functionality. Unclear Cutouts: The presence of residual plastic from the molding process serves as a clear indicator of oversight in quality control. These unfinished sections not only detract from the unit's visual appeal but also raise concerns about the thoroughness of the manufacturing process. Drain Hole Size and Fit: The undersized drain hole, coupled with signs of forced installation, underscores a lack of precision in manufacturing. This oversight not only compromises the product's functionality but also raises doubts about its long-term durability and reliability. Overall Quality Control: Collectively, these issues point to a broader failure in quality control measures. The lack of consistency and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process is disheartening, particularly considering the brand's reputation. Caster Wheels Absent: Surprisingly, the product lacks the caster wheels that were supposed to be included, according to its specifications. This omission proves to be a significant inconvenience, particularly given the substantial weight of the filled 100-liter water tank. The absence of wheels not only impedes mobility but also adds unnecessary difficulty to the user experience, highlighting a failure in fulfilling promised features. Concerns and Resolution: In light of these findings, there is a pressing need for Cropton to address these issues promptly and effectively. As a consumer, it is only reasonable to expect a certain standard of quality, and I am eager to see how the company intends to rectify these shortcomings and uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction.

This is an excellent cooler if you have a well ventilated room and you live in an area with dry heat. I live in Delhi NCR and this cooler does fine till mid June (bcs after that you get humid heat and you will need an AC till Aug/early Sep). Here are a few pros and cons : Pros: 1) Three sides of the cooler (with pads) have meshnet/filternet which really comes in handy to stop mosquitos entering the cooler from sides and it even stops a lot of dust. You just need to wash the filternet weekly or once in 2 weeks which is really easy to do with a jet spray (health faucet). This is the best feature of this cooler because unlike my other Crompton Cooler (Ozone which doesn't come with meshnet), this one carries on with cleaner pads throughout the whole season. 2) This cooler has the largest ice chamber that I know of and the best thing is that the whole water flows through the chamber before falling on pads which means putting some ICE in chamber will do the magic straight away 3) It has a 3 pin plug which is very common but somehow missing in Symphony coolers so I marked it as a pro 4) Easy Drain function rocks, it works really well and helps drain at least 95% of water while I get rest of it out by tilting the cooler sideways. There is also a rubbery drain plug at the bottom to fully drain the cooler but I don't use it because it loosens in few years and then cooler starts leaking (happend to me with Symphony Sumo model in past) 5) Fully collapsible louvers are fantastic and help protect the cooler from front in off seasons 6) Auto water inlet is also available if you have a tap nearby to keep it turned on at all times, do check out the pipe attachment (comes with the cooler) before using it 7) Good quality castor wheels with 2 front ones having stopers 8) Everlast Pump is really easy to clean 9) Quality of honeycomb pads is really good and water is evenly distributed on pads, rentention is good too so you don't get occasional incident of cooler spitting water (like it happens with wood wool pads) 10) The cooler has great quality plastic and it is built like a tank Here are some cons : 1) Putting the L shaped drain pipe in drain hole for the first time was very difficult. I really had to peel off some plastic from the inner hole to fit the pipe and push it through with force, it seemed like a risky thing to do. Crompton should check the size of drain hole before marking the unit as "tested ok" 2) The cooler lacks a front opening to fill water which is really poor from Crompton bcs they provide it in all their models. Yes there is an auto water inlet and a manual one as well at the back but not every pipe would fit those. I put my water pipe through the large grills (louvers) at the front to fill it but since they are delicate, I have to be careful Edit : I have started filling this cooler with the pipe from the sides (after sliding the side pad meshnet slightly up and putting the pipe in the gap that opens, you can push it down with slight force). It is the easiest way to fill the cooler 3) Like most plastic coolers out there, opening this cooler is a challenge with combination of screws and plastic latches which are pointy at times, be careful while doing it (especially the first time) bcs you may damage your fingers, thats why I love the fact that it has meshnets which means I only have to open the back cover to clean the bottom and not all the pads bcs they aren't that dirty after every season. 4) Honeycomb pads can be smelly initially like they are with every cooler out there, fill your cooler, put it in your balcony or an open area, let the pads get wet by running pump for a while and turn on the fan. Do this for an hour and then drain the water and fill the fresh water again. Repeat this process for 2-3 times and smell will go away in 2 days or earlier All in all, an excellent cooler which does its job well. If you have the right expectations and willing to keep it well maintained with annual cleaing of its pads if needed (and changing them after every 3-4 yrs), it should serve you for years.

I am very satisfied with this desert cooler. This is my second time purchasing the same Optimus 100 cooler because of its excellent performance and features. I first bought it for my home in 2024, and due to its impressive cooling and reliability, I decided to purchase it again. The cooler comes with dense honeycomb pads along with a mosquito net, and also allows you to fully close the fan wings when not in use, which helps keep dust and insects away. It has a large ice tray that helps enhance cooling during very hot days. The airflow is strong and covers a good area, making it ideal for home use. One of the most convenient features is the auto-fill technology, which saves time and effort. Additionally, the same water motor can be used to drain the water, and it also includes a bottom valve for easy water outlet. Overall, a great product with powerful cooling, useful features, and good durability. Highly recommended!

This product is robost design and good air throw..nice design and all features..auto water fill and auto water drain out ..cooling so fast ..low noise..easy to move...only first 3 to 4 hrs you need to run and drain all water when start at initially to remove bad smell of packing box...and honey comb small particle and as water turn yellow color due to honey comb material..after that second day you can fill fresh water upto 75%(75ltr) so it is long last for 2 days for me...it is useful for big hall or while flat 2 bhk for cooling all room ..should be placed behind window outside in gallery so fresh air suction can taken and cool air comes thru window grill net... if you see the impurities in water then again you can drain out frim botton drain plug removed and refit easily....pump and swing mode is useful to cover all room area ...mosquito net is good features to avoid enter mosquito in cooler inside to give fresh hygienic air flow...ice input chamber at top and big in size very good you can put ice cube in tray to improve extra cooling....at backside left side connector for auto water fill float system if you continue connect pipe there..and right side one connector provide L shape by company so you should remove plug and connect drain L shape there..again beside this one water fill provision given for manually water filling.. A knob given for auto drain by pump ..when draing you should stop cooler only pump to be run on that mode ..after draining..again switch to high or low mode for pump depends upon wheather condition..for humid low mode and for dry high mode... Power on/ off button given from front side extreme left..then air flow high,medium,low given as per requirement and right extreme pump mode and pump swinging mode given for better cooling area cool... Overall this cooler is best one among all cooler competitor...its body plastic good hard acrylic..also from front side flap collapsible given to avoid mosquito enter thru it if cooler is not in service we can close it ...water indicator is easy to watch from front side.. I tremendous satisfied after its trial work..and recommend to buy anyone who need ...Thanks

this cooler is very good and features loaded like good cooling, flaps. the best part i like about is very less noise . but the most sad part is Air speed.The speed of air is just more than a fan and directed but if you live in a village in haryana then it is very less. it even cannot flyaway the flies and mosquitoes. Size is just perfect.But for me it is not value for money

It has been more than one year i am using it .. it works perfectly and if the ventilation is good it cools like ac noise is very less even for a child if you are few step away from cooler from back side you will not hear much noice so its good i completely love this

, I purchased the Crompton Optimus 100-litre air cooler in April, and it is still within warranty. Since purchase, I have experienced recurring problems, including swing malfunction and water overflow when the motor stops. Despite multiple complaints, the service engineer's visits have not resolved the issues. Instead, I was told that parts are not available. I find this disappointing given the product is new and under warranty. I request a prompt resolution, either through proper repair with the correct parts or an appropriate alternative solution. If this cannot be addressed soon, I will have to consider alternative brands for any future purchases.
