Does this cable work with Rocksmith+ on iPad?

You can use your mobile device as a microphone (mic) to play Rocksmith+ with either an acoustic guitar, or a guitar or a bass connected to an amp. For best results, ensure your mobile device and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and place your mobile device between 30 to 60 centimeters from your instrument or the amp. To set up your mobile device as an audio input: • Open Rocksmith+. • Select the gear icon in the top right of the screen to open the Options menu. • Select Acoustic or Electric (Amp). • Select use Rocksmith Tuner app. If you have not done so already, you can scan the QR code to download the app for Android or iOS. • Launch the Rocksmith Tuner app. • Select Play Rocksmith+ with your phone as a mic. • Log in with the same Ubisoft account that you have subscribed to Rocksmith+ with. Your username will appear at the top of the page if your login has been successful. • Select Play Rocksmith+ with your phone as a mic. To ensure your instrument is being picked up by the microphone, please follow the steps of our noise calibration guide. Alternative audio interfaces and the Real Tone Cable are available to link your instrument to Rocksmith+.

cable was working fine, but packing is worst. the box was opened when i removed the amazon cover.
