This is my favorite sunscreen because it’s not greasy. It’s a clear gel that absorbs well and feels almost weightless. Very easy to apply, and gives effective protection against sunburn. I use it for outdoor activities and the beach vacation. It has the signature scent of Sunscreen but it dries to a matte finish and it doesn’t feel greasy or sticky. Recommended for other people who don’t like the feel of traditional lotions.

This new Coppertone Sport Clear is good. Its not heavy or greasy on my skin and despite what I've read in other reviews there isn't a strong alcohol odor. Yes, there is a smell but its the normal smell that comes any non-frangranced lotion or other sun blocks. Im very sensitive to any chemical or strong smells and it doesn't bother me at all. So if say buy it and judge for yourself cause everyone's opinion comes from a different place... When in doubt if its not for you then return it.

Ok.. let me start by saying that you need to understand what you're buying before you purchase or write a review. I take my sunscreens seriously and have a different product for any situation. I have very pale, somewhat sensitive skin so I take the time to research my sunscreens... -This product has a ton of alcohol (look at the ingredients list and the fact it's a "cooling" product), it's literally the first ingredient listed, so DON'T USE ON YOUR FACE. Just like any other liquid sunscreen, it's going to sting if it gets into your eyes. Now add alcohol to that sting. Yea, it's gonna suck. -It smells like alcohol and sunscreen because, guess what, that's exactly what it is. -Alcohol isn't necessarily bad for your skin (google Lab Muffin) as it only temporarily dries it out and you can easily remedy that with lotion if it's an issue. That being said, make your own decision about using a high alcohol content product. The good things.. This is a fantastic sunscreen to keep in the car for those days you forget to throw something in your bag. This product checks all the boxes of things I hate about lotion sunscreens: warm lotion feels gross, too much rubbing-in time, and white chalky look. It's cooling no matter what temp it is, the application is quick, and it's completely clear. Now, I do wish it smelled better, but no one is perfect. I have other sunscreens for that. The bad.. I'm guessing this is because of the high alcohol content, but I also felt like my product came half full. I'm gonna try to purchase this in the store to see if there's any difference, but I'm guessing the alcohol just evaporates. It's a new product, so hopefully, Coppertone will notice this issue and resolve it soon.

It has a very mild, yet pleasant scent. It applies and removes very easily, and I never worry about it staining any of my clothes or towels. It seems to work very well for its purpose. The packaging has not caused any leakage issues.

I am huge on clear gel sunscreens bot hate how slimy and oily they can be. This brand is much better—goes on nice and sheer, dries quickly, and isn’t very oily at all. Works great for 2 hours. My only minor beef is after a few hours in the water it becomes white/crusty/ clumpy — but definitely an improvement on the clear gels I’m used to!!!

When I told someone I purchased the Coppertone SPORT Clear Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50, Water Resistant Sunscreen, Broad Spectrum they asked me if i had checked it out and smelled it prior to purchasing - they had purchased another brand and didn't use it because it smelled so bad. Luckily, when we used it, we were all happy with the scent and the product worked very well. We are definitely purchasing for around the home use and for our next trip.

I got this for a festival my main attractions were clear, gel-like consistency, and cooling. I wish I had stayed away, the alcohol in this gave more of a burning sensation than a cooling sensation. TBH it was rather hard to breathe while applying because of how heavy the alcohol fumes were. And I believe this gave me an allergic reaction, a minor case of hives which my skin has been trying to recover from for the past week now. As I mentioned I got this because it's clear and I wanted my makeup to still look good and stay put under the sunscreen. The sunscreen ended up pilling and balling up not only removing my makeup but leaving a terrible texture. I would not recommend this sunscreen.
