excellent. I fixed my 2012 Jeep Patriot and stripped the housing in the rear differential. it worked perfectly and I was able to torque it to spec. only improvement to the kit would be a suitable drill at the size. be careful with drilling. move on slowly

Did the stripped plug on my 04 Sportster and worked great. Just have to make sure you get the tang out of the cylinder if you break it off and it falls inside. I had a bore light and I could see that it had come out after I blew it out with compressed air. Had it at top dead center and made it easier to deal with. If you use some long needle nose that are slim you can just reach in and break off the tang.

I had to replace the Heli-Coils in my Wilwood calipers/brackets. These worked great. it took me 2 times until I got it right. But then it was easy as pie. I just wasn't pushing down hard enough when turning in the heli-Coil at the beginning. After that piece of cake.

Was able to properly install the helicoil without issues using the included installation tool.

I've used different size Heli-Coil (Stanley) brand thread repair kits and haven't had any issues and they install nicely.

Works beautifully. Note that you will need a 31/64 drill bit. This size is not commonly available at your local big box home store so you might as well order one of those when you get this kit. You don't ever want to need one of these, but they sure are handy when your job goes sideways. Make sure you take your time and do it right. Go slow with the tap and use lubricant and you'll be fine. Worked well to fixed a stripped weldnut on the frame of my truck. There was no way to grind or replace the welded nut because of where it was located. This went in perfectly and allowed me to fully reassemble all my parts. Advice: Use plenty of oil to lube the tap and turn it back often to break up the chips.
