Replaced Mechanical Timers
I had 2 Intermatic mechanical timers in a T30404r outdoor box for 20 years this year to control my pools main pump and pool sweep/heater. I've moved the box several times now due to some remodeling. The last time I moved it, the wall I placed it on hums and can be heard just loud enough to be heard at night while I try to sleep. If not for the humming, I expect the timers would probably last another 10 years if not more. I ordered a ET1125c electronic timer which arrived in a few days. It was shipped from JD's Electrical Supplies. It was in new packaging as I would have expected. However I quickly released that I would need a second timer after all. I hit the "Buy Again" button and a few days later, I get what was obviously a returned unit. This one came from PLEXSUPPLY. While the unit itself still looked new, only one of the 3 installation sheets was in the box. There were 3 installation sheets in the first box, one in English, one in Spanish and one in French. The sheet that came with the box from PLEXSUPPLY was not in English. Without the English version, I would have sent back the unit from PLEXSUPPLY. But since I had the one that came with the first unit, I kept this used unit. Additionally, the second unit's plastic safety apron that covers the contacts after install barely stays on the timer due to rough handling. The unit was preprogrammed already which I had to clear and the voltage switch on the back was not set to the defaults as listed in the install sheet. I was pretty sure I would be returning this second unit expecting it would not behave as expected. I was very happy to find that the new electronic units snapped right into the T30404r box once I removed the mechanical units. I made some jumpers as listed in the install sheet, wired up the rest of the wiring, programmed on and off events and I was done. No more humming. I needed two 240v setups, one for each pump. Thanks to Intermatic for making high quality, long lasting products. The install was easy with the very detailed install sheet. Hopefully the return unit I received will not be an issue. Otherwise I'll be reaching out to PLEXSUPPLY.

Works as advertised
I bought this timer for use with new landscape lighting. The landscape installer supplied a photoelectric control, which is nice if you want to turn the lights on @ sunset & turn them off @ dawn. Since there are quite a few exterior lights installed, I didn't want them all on all night. So, in installed this timer in-line with the power to the photoelectric control & lights. Now I turn on the power @ 5:00PM, if it is still light outside nothing happens. When it gets dark the lights turn on as expected. I turn them off @ 11:30PM. I also turn them on @ 5:00AM, which is when I usually leave for swimming. Programming is straight forward, the manual override is easy to do & this model has a second circuit, which I'm not using right now.

Automatic timer
Was an exact replacement for my old timer and works great- the only thing is you gotta get the hang of programming it

Great replacement for my two existing individual timers
I have two 20A circuits of outside outlets that I use primarily for holiday decorations (Halloween and Christmas), and for general outside electricity needs otherwise. I had two ET-100C timers to control those circuits, but one had been flakey since it was originally installed in 2006. I finally got around to replacing both units with a single unit (jumper set to "sim"/simultaneous) to control both at the same time, and am very happy with the results. I'm a computer nerd, but I don't do a lot of electrical work, so properly wiring one unit to get power from and switch two circuits took me longer than it should have. No problem -- I called the support line twice, had to wait maybe two minutes each time, and the support people were very friendly and helpful, and got me past some points of confusion. In the end, the biggest part of the project was the drywalling I had to do -- wiring and configuring was very easy. My only complaint is that the LCD display could be a tiny bit easier to read. Still, that's a pretty minor nitpick, as I expect to have to change the settings only very rarely. Overall the unit feels solid (it's inside my garage).

No More Mechanical Timer Motor Burnouts
Here in the Miami heat and humidity, my mechanical T104 Intermatic timers would cease to work because the little motor inside would fail. After replacing that little internal timer motor 5 or 6 times (about every other year) for $40 a pop, I decided I had enough and ordered this digital version. It was a perfect fit in the existing Intermatic box. I was a bit confused with how to properly wire it, but a call to Intermatic support gave me the information I needed to properly connect it. Honestly, I was extremely impressed with Intermatic support! They were friendly and efficient. I would go as far as to say that EVERY company providing customer support should model theirs after Intermatic. I intend to buy another one of these for my sprinkler timer when that old one fails.

Works as it should
Used to regulate pool pump and Polaris pool sweeper. It worked for about 8 months then for whatever reason it died. It still gets 5 stars because it is well made and I filed a warranty claim with Intermatic. They sent a new one very quickly with no hassle, one of the best warrany claim experiences I've ever encountered. I strongly recommend this timer to anyone, it's actually a better value than the old mechanical timer the this replaced.

Love everything about this little box of wonders
This is probably the most important purchase I made for my pool. Getting the wiring set up properly to run off a timer is so amazing and saves me a ton of headache and a ton of electricity since I can run the pump when electricity costs are lowest. I've had it for 2 years now and it's operated with 100% reliability. It is pretty easy to program, the display is nice and clear (not backlit though, only drawback I've noticed) it keeps time accurately, and switches loads on and off exactly when it's supposed to. The backup batteries (2xAAA) for keeping the time set last forever, unless your power is out a lot I guess. It's well constructed in a very sturdy steel case with all the appropriate punchouts needed for running electrical cables in and out. I don't know if I'd call it waterproof/weatherproof though. Mine's installed on the inside of my garage, nice and protected from the elements. The box latches securely when closed and has a hole for a padlock if you want to make sure nobody messes with it. The buttons give you access to all the functions you need. You can switch it to automatic (timer-controlled) or manual (toggling the loads on and off manually). The programming is saved even in manual mode, so you can easily switch back to automatic at any time. If you want to leave it in automatic mode but still turn one of the loads on or off temporarily you can do that easily, there is a toggle button for each load. If it's in automatic mode when you do this, it will maintain your manually configured status until the next timer event, and then it goes back to the programmed setting. Overall works exactly as I'd expect, and quite user-friendly. Note that you will need an electrician for installation, unless you're a pretty confident DIYer. There are no plugs, just wire terminals. The version I got has 3 pairs of terminals, 1 set is for powering the timer itself and the other 2 are load circuits. I use one load circuit for the pump and the second for the pool accessories (lights, etc). However, according to my electrician if you were using a pump that is 220V (North American split phase) you would need to pair both load circuits together to switch both legs of the 220V, or use a separate 120V contactor to switch the 220V load. So for 220V you basically only have one load circuit. For my installation, because I do have the pump wired for 220V and also in order to protect the timer unit I have the pump power relayed through a secondary contactor. The timer box only activates the contactor (which runs on 120V), and the contactor starts and stops the pump by connecting the 220V legs. However if I was not using 220V I think this configuration would probably be unnecessary. It has pretty beefy 30 amp contactor relays inside it already. Still, contactors do wear out eventually and even if I was using a 110V pump I'm glad I chose to protect this unit with a much cheaper secondary contactor which can be replaced if (when) it ever fails without damaging the timer. You can find cheap decent ones on Amazon for like $20. You could also use this thing for lots of other purposes besides a pool, as long as you don't mind its semi-industrial appearance. Anything electrical that you would want to run on a timer should run just fine on this box.

Great Timer but LCD is a bit dark
Great timer once installed and configured. Installation and set-up is straightforward for a pro - perhaps a bit tricky for a novice. Simply refer to the instructions. My only complaint is the LCD screen is a bit difficult to read since it is not back-lit.
