I bought an Amonax 30kg cast iron weight set and needed some extra dumbbell bars to assist in workouts, and these work perfectly with the plates from that kit. The weights fit (ergo the bar is the width as advertised), they feel lightweight but sturdy, the pieces connect well and they do the job. I’ve seen lots of negative reviews for this and I don’t understand how; they are two bars with connectors and work compatibly with other brands. I don’t think it’s right to rate a product down for being too thin when the size is advertised, especially when you can buy grips to bulk it out. Overall I’d recommend these if you need any/extra dumbbells, just read the sizes to make sure it works with your plates.

Does what it says on the tin, with one reservation. There's a washer either end of the bar that the weight sits upon and the locking nut is placed the other side of the weight to secure it. The bars only came with 3/4 washers. A small thing, some might think, but on oversight by quality assurance nonetheless.

The rubber stopper on one of the bars was snapped so I had to return the item.

Received the order on time, the packaging was intact but there was only 3 locknuts when there should be 4.
