Great pens!
I love these pens and have bought only this variety for many years. They are easy to use and write evenly and last for an appreciable amount of time.

Excellent value for money
I am an old fashioned guy and when it comes to penmanship, I feel a sense of obligation. Growing up, we were told that the true sign of a persons caliber is few small things: How he behaves with others, what kind of books he reads, how he dresses up and how good his hand writing is. Electronic gadgets have deprived us the joys of seeing something beautifully written on a white piece of paper and I will admit this is a dying art. But still there is a palpable renaissance of sorts, thanks to Instagram tags and Pinterest posts. I am glad people still admire this. Now I believe the true art needs a good calligraphy pen and a more serious fountain pen. They offer the perfect balance of fluidity and friction on the surface allowing one to truly express himself. But those things can be clunky and often difficult to carry around. Having spoiled a dozen white shirts with leaked inks, have found some good use of these new generation ball pens. They are easy to carry around and don’t require a mandatory mourning period, should you lose them. And I happen to do that more regular now a days. I guess age is catching up on me. Originally bought this one for my daughters school homework, but I like it enough to warrant a review. The ink is shiny, the flow is smooth and there is that small tug of war with the paper that does not like it’s pristine surface be tarnished by the mundane blabbering of a rapidly decaying middle aged man. I recommend this pen and will buy a few more, which given my pen dropping habit , will happen pretty soon

Easy writing!
I recently got the Paper Mate FlexGrip Ultra Stick Ball Pen in Blue. It's awesome! The fine point (0.80 mm) writes smoothly without smudging. Plus, the grip is comfy, even for long writing sessions. The blue barrel looks cool and feels sturdy. Overall, a top-notch pen for anyone who wants a reliable writing tool. Highly recommend it!

Good for the money.
I forgot about these pens, which I used a lot as a kid, until I saw one of my coworkers using one, and I decided to order a box of these. I loved them as a kid, and they're still a great cheap pen. Are they the best? No. They are what they are. They are cheap but write with every use. The fine point is actually fine which surprised me. Fine points never seem to be fine enough for my liking, and these actually seem smaller than .8mm. I'm pretty sure it writes finer than some .5mm pens I own.

I love these.
Update: 14 Feb 2020. Seems that they dry out a bit faster than some of the earlier production runs. I've had several fail in the past couple of weeks, but, then, they are 2 years old. Even though they were "new" and had remained in a drawer, unused, they failed. I prefer paste ink for carrying a pen in a pocket because it won't "run" and leak. I like the Pilot G2 as a second choice, but they're actually my first choice if I'm at home. They're a fabulous pen. I love they way they perform in my Essentials Ruled Notebooks. _____________________________________________________________________________ I've used these for years because they're cheap, they last a long time, and the past ink doesn't leak, clump, or smear on the page. Best cheap paste-ink pen on the planet. I wish some of the better pen makers would buy a clue from Paper Mate around ink cartridges and incorporate them into their products.

No click-in.
I like the thin line of these pens. I’ve ordered them previously. So I thought they would be click-in, rather than having to take the tops on and off. Perhaps I didn’t read the description carefully enough.

I'm glad I found them!
I'm not sure why it's so difficult to find fine-point, ballpoint pens in my local stores, but I was happy to find them here, despite the obvious price gouging. The gel and rollerball pens are trendy and popular, but I don't like them. After reading reviews about this product, where others complained that all the pens in the box weren't working, I tested every pen just to be sure. No problems there, thankfully. So to sum up this purchase, it was bittersweet. I was happy to find what I was looking for, but disappointed with the price I had to pay to get what I wanted. These pens aren't worth any more than maybe 5 bucks for a dozen of them. So it's a typical supply and demand situation that retailers love to take advantage of.

My favorite pen!
Papermate ballpoint pens with comfort grip are my favorite. They work very well for left-handed people who tend to smear gel pens. I was a little disappointed in this packet of pens, though, because some of the pens seem to be defective (extend too far out of the end at the nib and lacking full ink). Maybe it’s a problem with the seller? I’m really not sure, but will order through another vendor for future purchases if possible.
