Great product and easy to install.

I was desperate to find a quick fix solution to brining in the waist on some work pants instead of paying for a tailor (I'd pay for a tailor before trying to sew) and these did the trick! This kit has all you need if you are interested in sewing these in so that you cannot see them on the inside waist band but it's not necessary. The only warning I would share (since it wasn't immediately obvious to me) is that they have a limit of how much you can bring the waist in because eventually your pants will bulk up around the zipper area because of how much extra space is there now, causing your pants to not lay flat. Also, the zipper area will be pulled to the side, no longer staying straight. For reference, I was trying to go down 2 pant sizes and while this helped get it to a reasonable size with a belt, it wasn't the long-term fix for trying to go down 2 sizes.

I tried this as a cheap fix instead of going to the seamstress. The product is affordable and an exact replacement for what I needed. However I couldn’t get it to stay very secured to the pants. Will keep trying and this problem is more operator error than the product itself.

I wish these came with instructions of any kind. There were none, and I couldn’t even find any by searching online. For someone who has never installed anything like them before, and someone who is a very visual learner, I had the hardest time trying to figure it out— at least the hook portion, the loop it hooks through wasn’t bad. I ended up going back to the sew in kind, though. I was not convinced I knew what I was doing.

YES! I have two pairs of dress slacks that fit my legs but were too big in the waist, they would fall down and I hate having to wear a belt. What I wanted to do was add extra “eye” parts further along the waistband so that I could clasp the pants tighter. These things were exactly what I was looking for, they worked great. I just used the “eye” pieces, so I can only speak to the installation of those, but it was super easy to install them. I poked them through, put on the back plate, and used pliers to bend the prongs over and then did a couple taps with a hammer. Fantastic. As you can see from the pictures, I left the back plate exposed so it technically runs against my skin but I don’t feel it at all. I’m so happy with this product!!!

Worth the effort to have my fav jeans back in rotation! (Placed them inside the zipper. I placed the slot on actual zipper material nearest the Jean seam& the sliding in part inside the flap& opened, carefully, they inside flap material to place it with supportive part against it wide end facing curved end(both ends at edge of inside flap& under the cut open layer that can't be seen when pants are closed with hooks & zipper. (I actually could leave cheap zipper down& only used 4 of the hooks& it holds fine! Super stretchy jeans though. Still tight. Perfect!

The instructions for this product are very unclear; I'm not a tailor and thought I could simply hammer this thing in to replace the "eye" part that fell off; hopefully I'll get it eventually.
