Odd tasting
I'm all for healthy snack foods, and these have a pretty good nutritional profile, but I want foods to taste good as well as be good for me.These don't quite hit the mark. The first few taste unappealingly fishy (the high Omega-3 content? But chia seeds are high in it as well and don't have that kind of flavor, so maybe it's something else).On the plus aside, after a few, it's not really noticeable, and they have a pleasant crunch to them. Another negative: one of the seeds in the bag tasted very moldy. Yuk.Another obvious negative is the price.I probably won't be getting these again. I'll stick to chia seeds for a pleasant-tasting way of getting high omega-3 levels.

Savi Fishy Seed?
Bought these after I tried the plain variety, which were mmmazing. The chocolate covered ones were alright, most foods taste good with chocolate. I agree with another reviewer, they're fishy at first until you keep eating them. The yucky taste subsides, but by the time you've gotten past it, you've eaten more than your suggested serving.

Different kind of taste
Boosts about being a seed rather than a nut, more like a nut to me. Even with that being said was surprisingly good. Has a different taste and flavor than what is your normal American tasting nuts. Is filling to the stomach and does not require the whole bag to satisfy. Karmalized was crunchy. Has the salty and sweet together. Daughter wanted to steal my bag away from me. So she liked too! A little pricey but worth a treat occasionally.

Really NASTY tasting!
They are extremely expensive and taste like rotten peanuts. From the very first bite, I knew something was wrong with them. So, I opened the second bag I purchased and, same thing! They are discusting!!! I highly recommend you stay away from these!

Love these!
These seeds are amazing! I saw them on the Dr. Oz show and could not wait to try them. They have a slightly odd flavor but with the caramel they are delicious. Love that Omega 3.

to high in friggin calories and its still sitting in my drawer since i purchased it and the taste is like carmelized fish ughhhhhhhh!!!

I prefer the coco flavor over the karmalized, they taste good but are VERY expensive. I would eat more of them but the3 are just too costly....

Gross with a delicious glaze
The "karmalized" part of this snack is what earned the two stars, along with the nutrition. The seed inside most certainly does NOT taste like a nut. It tastes more like crunchy dust with undertones of fish, sort of like fishy dried soybeans. I tried an entire serving (which isn't much, actually) in order to form a proper opinion. At times, I felt like I could get used to the funky flavor, especially since the texture is a satisfying crunch and the glaze is awesome. Then, one of the seeds would punch you in the face with a stronger fish taste. I got this as a free sample at work, so at least I didn't have to shell out the twelve bucks for the nasty bag.
