I have a slightly bulky cardigan swearter with no buttons. One of these snaps on the fronts holds it together perfectly. The hold is quite firm. I found that a mini drop of Snap and Zipper Lubricant makes the snapping and unsnapping easier.

Secure, huge, well-made. I need to be very careful to put the two pieces together (snap them) to see which is the inside and which I should place on the garment. I’ve done it wrong and had to rip stitches. A little harder to see because black and I rarely use snaps this size. These are just as good and less expensive than the ones i got at a fabric store.

The are really large and sturdy. I don't have any trouble snapping and unsnapping them so they work for me. I bought them for personal use so the price is good for the quality as far as I'm concerned.

Great for jacket. a bit hard to line up and snap, but when you do it holds perfectly. well made!

I needed sturdy, 1/2 inch (or so) snaps for a rain gear project. I was working with Silnylon fabric which is very thin and slick. These were perfect. They are light weight, feel sturdy and have a strong snap. For the waist band of my project, there was extra reinforcement so the snap was easy to sew in. For the hem, which was one layer of cloth, I decided to add a fold of fabric to add thickness for sewing these on - this worked well and they were secure. Glad I found these. My project turned out great thanks in part to these.

Good snap. But they are extremely hard to get apart. So if you want a more permanent hardy fastener this is it!

I used these snaps to attach a fur pom pom to a hat I Crotcheted. The snaps make the hat more washable friendly. I just Unsnap the pom and toss the hat in washer. It's a snap to reattach, ha ha. Snaps are a must if your using real fur poms.
