ObusForme Backrest Support Enhanced Design Obus, Black, Large

I am very satisfied with this backrest support cushion. Offers great support to lower back especially. Easily attaches to my high back computer chair. Not too warm against your skin either. The only thing I wish it had was a removable cover so it could be laundered. I also purchased the Obus Forme by Conair ultra ergonomic orthopedic seat cushion that is recommended to use with this backrest and together they perform very well.

Very nice quality. Works well for lower back. For me it requires securing into place. I am very tall ( 6'3" ) so this is a little bit too short for me and does not quite cover the upper shoulder/ back area wear I had surgery. I do not believe that it is a design or quality issue. No beef on the price. It's high quality. I would have given it FIVE stars if it fit ME better. Great quality, priced right. Good delivery. It has reduced LOWER back symptoms after a short period of time getting used to it. My chiropractor used to sell these and highly recommends them.

Bought it for use in our motor home because the OEM seat did not have a lumbar support. This provides good support but moves around a lot even with the holding straps pulled tight. I'm going to see if a auto upholstery shop can install this back support inside the backrest of the seat. I think it will work much better with the back rest as a permanent part of the seat.

We have a 2008 Subaru Outback. We love that car, except for 1 thing. The seats are terrible! I recently began to develop some chronic pain in my neck and shoulders from something unrelated, but that pain made sitting in the Outback almost unbearable. I'm 5'1" and the seats are clearly sized for somebody larger. First, those #**&@! new-style headrests that angle forward so much it forces my neck to bend down at an awkward angle. And second, the seat and backrest have this dip that I fall into and make my posture uncomfortably hunched. It got to the point where I dreaded sitting in that car, either as a driver or passenger. I even started looking into getting a different car.I scoured the internet for a solution to this problem, short of buying another car. Turns out A LOT of people have the same problems with their newer cars, particularly with the headrests, which were mandated sometime in 2008-2009 to angle more forward than in the past in order to prevent whiplash. Some people just turned the headrest backwards, but my Outback headrest was so angled that when I flipped it around, it was basically like not having a headrest at all.Finally, I came across one lone post in a sea of comments in various forums that mentioned the Obusforme. I found it on Amazon and immediately bought it.It's great! The curvature in the backrest makes my posture much more comfortable when I sit, so it's great for my back pain. It has also solved the car problem. My head is now far enough away from the headrest that it's no longer being pushed forward. And I no longer hunch in the dip of the car seat.We recently purchased a Lazy Boy recliner. Turns out it doesn't offer enough support for me and it aggravates my back pain when I sit in it for long periods. There goes $800 down the drain, I thought. Well, I decided to put the Obusforme on the Lazy Boy and boy, did that help.Loved it so much I bought one for my husband and another for my mother. They both love it as well.1 star deduction for the high price, and also it is a little firm for me. But overall, highly recommend.

I've used several back supports and this one is the best. I use it in my office chair and my car. I have even purchased one for my wife's car and she loves it. Highly recommend.

I am a professional driver, and I need a good back support. The only thing that bothered me was the picture that they show has handles, but the actual product doesn't. Other than that, it does its job.

I wouldn't drive without it. It helps cutdown on the terrible backaches I was accustomed to after many a long drive.
