If you know the flavour of these, then you either love them or hate them, there's no in between. They are floral, soapy, not too powerful but definitely packing enough taste that you're gonna know you're eating a Violet. I've had these since I was a kid and they are as much nostalgia as they are a treat. All of the packs came well packaged, with no crushed or broken pieces, which was actually surprising as these are rather brittle. The taste was fresh and stayed fresh over the months it took me to finish them. One is enough for a while!

picked up both the violet candy and the "scented" mints. the mints are some kind of uncanny old-fashioned melange of violets, cinnamon, mint, clove and pine, they will make your breath smell like a grandma who collects candles. nice crunch, chicklet like texture, probably gonna get them again. the violet mints taste like getting punched by a bouquet of violets. like kissing your great-grandma on the mouth if she was the kinda grandma who wears Chanel and collects couture dresses. oppressively bougie. but also not too sweet and they don't fight with my perfume or try to kill me under my mask the way minty mints do, so, I think I like them?
