Hutzler Cutlery Drainer, 7.75" x 4" x 6.75", Green

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the plastic, very thick and sturdy. I've had it pretty full before and it will not tip over. So easy to clean, just slide the insert out and wash, no crevices to try to get to. Insert is high enough above the bottom that nothing sits in water and it works perfectly. Great for small households that just use a drying mat or a large household where there are often too many utensils to put in the dishrack. The slotted sections work great for knives. Definitely a great purchase.

This utensil drying container is perfect. The colors are great in my kitchen, and looks good on the countertop. The design works perfectly for knives, long utensils, and silverware. Sturdy, doesn't tip over, and is easy to clean. Since this sits alone on the countertop, I have more room in the drainer for dishes, etc.. I haven't found anything about this I don't like!

I have been using this utensil holder for a few years now. Not sure why I haven't done a review before now, but alas here it is! Good quality plastic, so it won't crack easily. Easy to wash. Two compartments for silverware and one with slots to hold knives. I love that because knives don't touch each other dulling or scratching the others. The best part is that the sharps are in the slots so you don't accidentally get hurt. A bit pricey, but is worth it and would make a nice gift.

So let me start by saying that I do not own a dishwasher. Not by choice mind you. I rent a 1950's duplex and well, they just didn't have those then. So I wash dishes A LOT. So I try to maximize the amount of drainage space. This really fills that need. It holds a lot, love the knife holder. One compartment is not as deep as the other for the shorter items. The part I love the most is that each compartment has a bottom. My previous silverware drainer (which immediately went in the trash when I got this one) did not have enclosed compartments so my silverware was constantly sliding down to the bottom so you have to take the bottom tray off to get it out. This is so much better!

Pros: - Made of good quality, sturdy plastic that doesn't seem like ot will crack or break easily. - Holds quite a lot of utensils and knives and really keeps them dry and above any water that might collect. - nice red color and not a horrible design - not too big, not too small Cons: - part where the utensils sit is a bit shallower than I thought, to make sure it's very high above any water that collects. - no way to automatically drain water, amd won't evaoprate easily because it's not ventilated well. - nubs on the bottom keeping the utensil bins above the water make it fairly difficult to truly clean any gunk and mold that might grow and collect, so you really have to keep on top of keeping the bottom dry and clean. Bad for lazy people like me... Overall, it was a bit expensive for what it is, but it's also a lot sturdier than the cheap plastic one I was using before.

I debated for quite a while whether to order this but am so glad I did. The size is great. Much larger then most holders. I was afraid that as much silver wear you can get in it that it might fall over especially from the weight of the knives. But it really is well balanced and not tippy at all. I like the section that contains the knives. No more knife points sticking out of the wire baskets. It looks very nice too. And it's easy to clean.

Look no further. This utensil holders holds a generous amount with excellent knife slots. It will not tilt over and is easy to clean. Definitely purchase it, you will not be sorry!!!!!

This is well made. It will be great in the summer because it's easy to dump any water that accumulates in the bottom. That will keep me from having to be concerned about mold. It's big enough to handle a strainer and the knife compartment is truly handy. I never had a knife compartment before and now I won't want to be without one. Much of what this company sells is made in the USA. This piece wasn't made here but it wasn't made in China.

It keeps all the cutleries organized. Would have loved if it included some sort of nozzle to flow collected water directly to the sink.

Worked great for my needs, it fit into my 2nd sink with the dish rack so nothing on display. Like the two level for small utensils and longer ones. The slots for knives are handy, had for a few months and no issues with cleaning, plastic good quality.
