I'm using these magnets on my HD jiffy stand. Its there In case I lose my jiffy stand spring to keep the Jiffy stand up .They easily attach and work great. If you're looking for a magnet to use for that I highly recommend it. Plus I'm sure they would work great for other appreciations too.

Having a 4 pack was awesome for my kickstand. I recently learned about this from JoeGoe on Instagram. The idea behind this magnet was to go into the kickstand in place of the rubber piece. There is also a spring in the kickstand to hold it up, but occasionally the spring can stretch or break. This leaves the stand dangling. The magnet would assure that it's not. The only thing I had to change was adding a larger washer to block the hole on the kickstand. This took about 2 minutes to figure out and mount. GREAT IDEA JOEGOE!

I used these to mount light pods on my tractor ROPS. I was only going to use them until I got ROPS clamps, but these stay in place pretty well so I didn't need to buy expensive clamps after all. These definitely have a stronger hold than some of the cheaper ones I tried.

Strong magnets, not sure about the 40 lbs though

I use two magnets to hold the front license plate on my Jeep to keep from drilling holes in the heavy steel bumper. They work as expected with no movement whatsoever even off-road and at highway speeds.

I used these to mount a spice rack on the side of my fridge, and it was easy to use them through holes normally meant for drywall mounts. The rubber won't harm the fridge, although I found it did not provide enough friction to keep the rack from sliding down the fridge, even though I was well under the 120-lb total weight pull of the magnets. A little double-sided tape fixed the problem. I would definitely buy these again.

I used this set to attach a license plate to my car. The screws perfectly fit through the holes in my license plate, and the magnets are both super strong and also have some plastic protection to keep them from scratching the paint. I broke off my own license plate holding bolts (rusted beyond belief) and this was the quickest and simplest solution. Works great, holds strong, and actually looks very nice.

If you plan to take the item off and on a metal surface these magnets work fine. This would be another alternative way instead of using glue were it would just be a fixed object. Some of these magnets I used it on my l.e.d. light housing attaching it to my inside hood of my car while I work on the engine. Instead of a light stand.
