Love This Map
As the name implies, this has been a great map for planning our upcoming 3 week trip to Portugal. I've used it a lot over the last couple weeks, using highlighters to mark towns, etc.

Perfect size for planning our trip and make the most of our time there.
I like the size and layout of the map. Perfect tool to use for planning our next vacation to Portugal!

readable with jewelers loupe
It looked perfect in the description though it only showed the case it sits in. A study (but unnecessary) case holds a bunch of useless stickers. The map surprised me with how small it was. My reading glasses weren't adequate, I needed additional magnification to read the tiny details. My fault for not checking the scale and dimensions. Odd there are no enlarged maps of metro areas. Lonely Planet used to be my go to, but recent products have not been up to snuff. Will try to find another. BTW - I doubted the "waterproof" claim but tried it - it is indeed water resistant. A fine feature but doesn't help readability. The back side could have had metro enlargements or split the map in half at twice the scale. Instead, generic photos of tourist attractions. I can't claim it isn't what was described, but it didn't meet my expectations or needs.

Highly recommend
A lot of info. Gave a good overall description and maps of place.

Sturdy good design
Holds up to plenty of use. Live it almost as much as Portugal.

Its OK.
It provides a good overview, but they might have used the cost of the unnecessary cover and put it into a larger map with more information

Absolute garbage
This is a shockingly useless map. Obviously it's useless as a road map, I wasn't expecting that. I thought it might have some topography, some general regions, some tourist sights, a bit of get to know the country. Absolutely none of that. If you don't know where Lisbon is maybe this map will help you. It's almost willfully bad, like they erased any possible useful info. It's so bad that I will never buy another map from Lonely Planet again.

Not worth the price
Minimal streets and highways marked. Very thin. Has some tips and pictures on places to go. It was cheap and not worth it. Returning and ordering the Michelin map that also includes Spain. Much more detailed. I'll get my travel tips from a book.
