If you ever carry off-body, you NEED this!
Kydex was molded well and fitment is great on an M&P Shield (gen 1). I’m personally using this inside a small crossbody bag with the cord attached to the inner product tag. While I haven’t had to draw in a real situation, it seems to perform perfectly when running practice drills.NEVER carry an unholstered firearm!! For the price, this purchase is a no-brainer for any responsible gun owner.

Super tight
This thing is a little too tight the way it comes. You have to yank so freaking hard to remove the trigger guard it's crazy. Luckily I have a heat gun and I was able to heat it up a bit to make it a little looser and now it's perfect!

Very nice, Very tight trigger clip.
The firearm I own is my first striker fire, and no safety firearm I've ever owned and having a tight trigger clip for in coat holstering or even safer pocket carry. Excellent item.

Great Product & Great Company for an Exceptional Value!
I purchased this for concealed carry in a daypack for a S&W Shield (non-safety model). I wanted to ensure that if the trigger was jostled, I would not have an Accidental Discharge. After receiving mine, I can testify that the Bastion Trigger Guard works like a champion! Very Well Made. Loop the paracord to a fixed point and when you pull the pistol, the trigger guard automatically detaches & the gun is ready to fire. I contacted Bastion customer service about a minor issue, and they were super fast, super responsive & showed they really CARE about their product & Customers. That is rare these days! If I could give Bastion & this product 6 stars I surely would!

I have one of these for my Glocks and decided to pick one up for my Shield. Nice added safety and slips off easily when drawing your firearm. It’s my go to if I can’t choose a holster.
