How do you gang these clips?

I don't understand your question. I used these for a different application as they were designed for. I use the clips to hold my runners in place on my carpet. Which wasn't easy.

Can I use these clips to hang a large rug for power washing?

I used them to hang a small rug to display. Not sure if they will work for your purpose.

where can i buy a rod to attach these to?

I bought some wood baseboard/moulding from Home Depot and cut slots into the molding to insert the clips. Looks great.

Will the teeth on the clip ruin a cowhide rug?

Hi. They have amazingly strong teeth. I would be nervous using them with anything delicate or of value. We have them holding something old and strong.
