Q: Can I pour boilig water straight into this pitcher?

Although this is advertised as a heat resistant borosilicate container, when I pour boiling water into this container I place a container-height stainless steel spoon inside to absorb the heat when I do not use the metal strainer. This may just be a precaution on my part.

Q: can i brew for 24 hours, will it rust?

The tea infuser is stainless steel. It will not rust. I have done cold brews for up to 24 hours and it has not rusted.
