POWEROWL AA Rechargeable Batteries 8 Pack, High Capacity 2800mAh 1200 Cycles 1.2V NiMH Rechargeable Battery AA

I use these POWEROWL 2800mAh rechargeable batteries mostly in Xbox controllers, battery-powered Christmas lights and remote controls. They seem to work well in each of these applications although, as with most rechargeable batteries last somewhat less time than equivalent non-rechargeable alkaline batteries (probably lasting about two-thirds the time of alkaline ones). But of course, they can be used again and again so there is the potential to save a lot of money here. They charge fairly quickly, although some of that performance will be down to the type of charger that you have. Once charged, they do seem to retain that charge pretty well over time even if not being used which is definitely a positive when using rechargeable batteries. The listing claims that these batteries can be recharged over 1200 times but as I’m nowhere near that yet, I can’t say whether that is an accurate claim. It's quite difficult to say whether this brand of battery is significantly better than other brands as much of the experience depends on how you keep the batteries and what you use them for. But POWEROWL batteries do seem to be good quality and good value and last very well in the equipment I put them in. I’m overall pleased with this purchase and can recommend these rechargeable batteries as probably the best I have tried.

These powerowl AA's are just as good as expected, I use these in a xbox Bluetooth/wireless controller for gaming, these last for hours between charges. As the capacity can vary due to internal characteristics of them, the stated capacity is naturally varied, these batteries are long lasting and hold up well for long term use, I have 8 packs of 4 to use in other devices as I am happy with them, these batteries are worth having over other brands like duracell and energizer as I find them brands overpriced and don't last anywhere as long as they say they do imo. I have no doubt these powerowls will be useful for years. These are good value and I expect them to last for around 5 years or less as this is usually before they stop working permanently, as the last rechargeable batteries I had (extreme brand) all stopped working almost within a fortnight together, I used a tester and were shown as completely empty. In normal use batteries won't last longer than 5 years or 500 plus times charging and fail over time due to internal issues. The powerowls are definitely worth having and good value in my opinion.

I am not sure these 2800 mah batteries are true 2800. They do not seem to last as long as my 2200 energiser rechargeable batteries - which are a few years old now and have been recharged many times. That said, these batteries are decent for the money if the batteries are being used for low power hungry appliances; remotes, clocks etc. I provided 3 star for the batteries, which I still believe is a fair score, they are OK batteries, considering the relative low cost. However, I have amended the score to 4 stars based on the excellent customer service received. Attentive to my feedback and offered numerous resolutions - something that wasn't necessary, as the batteries are being used and I have no interest in returning for a refund but the fact the seller is attentive, demonstrates a real belief in their product. As I said above, these batteries are a fair price for the quality of the item. They are not the best batteries on the market but they do an OK job, especially if you are buying for equipment that does not require huge amounts of power. Overall, I do recommend these batteries, and the seller.

The batteries are budget brand. One cell shorted, another has high resistance. High resistance ain't an issue for low power draw devices, but for controllers it's a problem. The XTAR charger however is great. I wouldn't recommend these batteries for high power draw appliances but with the charger you can get these batteries and see which batteries are better for your controllers and which are better for your TV remotes and similar stuff like that. A more expensive brand like Enelope is better consistency but these batteries aren't bad. Just not great.

Not very reliable. Half failed after first usage and attempt to recharge. Pay the extra and get a good brand. All 8 are non- chargeable only after 6 months and little use. NOTE: there customer service was excellent and the situation has been resolved.

Die Akkus wurden in Smarthomegeräten von Homematic IP verwendet. Für diesen Einsatzzweck sind diese Akkus nur bedingt brauchbar. Sie verlieren schnell ihre Spannung (sie sind dabei jedoch noch nicht "leer") sodass sie für die Sensoren nicht mehr zu gebrauchen sind. Dies zwingt zu einem monatlichen Wechsel der Akkus (Eneloop halten im Vergleich doppelt so lange). Wen das regelmäßige Wechseln nicht stört der findet mit diesen Akkus eine preiswerte Alternative. Insgesamt finde ich die Leistungsfähigkeit gut, außer für Geräte die eine konstante Spannung brauchen.
