I recently purchased the Self-Locking Weight Lifting Belt and I'm incredibly impressed. This belt has significantly improved my lifting experience. First and foremost, the support it provides is outstanding. I've noticed a huge difference in my core stability, especially when squatting. This belt enables me to squat deeper and with more confidence, without worrying too much about my lower back. This is a game-changer for anyone serious about heavy lifting. The self-locking mechanism is a brilliant feature. It's incredibly secure and easy to adjust, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit every time. Unlike traditional belts with buckles, I don't have to fumble with adjustments between sets. It locks in place and stays there, providing consistent support throughout my workout. The overall fit is amazing. It contours to my body comfortably and doesn't dig in or restrict my movement unnecessarily. It feels premium, as the name suggests, and is clearly built to last. In summary, this weightlifting belt is excellent for lifting. It provides fantastic support, allows for deeper squats, and the self-locking system is a huge plus. The fit is also spot on. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality lifting belt.

Once you get the knack of the locking mechanism (clear instructions on the card you get with the belt) the belt is very secure and I am able to fully brace against it more so than I can with a normal leather buckle belt. I do slide my belt round once tightened so the metal part is at the back so it doesn't get in the way. I've only used the belt for squats so far and it faired very well, I am yet to test it out on my oly lifts so will update in the coming weeks...... With regards to sizing, the chart says to go smaller if you are borderline. I am 27inch (around belly button) so based on that I could have gone XS or S. Per their chart I went XS initially however when I tried the belt on the 2 ends didn't meet each other by two inches and the only thing against me in the middle was the velcro strap. I contacted Element26 who said this was normal and the ends didn't need to meet, however I didn't feel fully secure so I returned the belt to Amazon and ordered the S. This is a much better fit. The 2 ends overlap each other by about 2 inches now and I feel fully locked in. Amazon made the return process super easy too. I did initially contact Element 26 to exchange but they tried to convince me to keep the XS and that I must have measured myself incorrectly...slightly condescending!

The belt is nice and lightweight so perfect for travel.. It’s sometimes a little tricky to get tight but this got better after a few times so I would say not a significant issue. For the price I’m happy. There are belts with big heavy clips and leather that I tried that hurt your ribs while squatting and add weight. This one is good for weighted cardio and compound movements like deadlifts and squats. I gave it a 4 star because if it was going to be perfect I would have the strap slightly more heavy duty and perhaps have the inner portion connectable with Velcro to keep it aligned better when tightening.

Nice belt, feels well made, easy to tighten and stay tight and easy to release. Improving my deadlift and squats.

I’ve had this belt for a few months now. I use it for heavy lifts during CrossFit sessions or when we have barbell class. I wanted to buy a good belt that had plenty of support as prolapsed 2 discs in my lower back 10 years ago. After doing lots of research I decided this was the belt for me. To be completely honest I wasn’t 100% happy with the belt at the start. I watched all the videos of how to secure it by looping it through first then velcroing it down. That’s the way I was using the belt. I found that I couldn’t get the belt tight enough and then once I had finished my lift trying to loosen the belt was equally as difficult. It was just very frustrating. After a few weeks of frustration I started to just put the belt through the first roller and pull tight like all other belts. PERFECT!!! Maybe if I was going for that one HUGE lift I might double secure it, but I honestly don’t think it needs it. The Velcro seems to be enough to keep it in place with comfort and ease of removing to also. Love this belt now.

Quality belt for the price

I’ve used this belt for a few weeks now. I use it for a variety of heavy lifts. I wanted to buy a good belt that had plenty of support but also comfortable. After doing lots of research I decided this was the belt for me. The Velcro seems to be enough to keep it in place with comfort and ease of removing to also. Not the easiest to undo between sets though

I have worn many belts over the years from leather to nylon and this so far is my favourite. Leather belt are sturdy and for 1/2 reps okay but anything more and they are uncomfortable and even restrictive. Nylon belts are a lot more comfortable but under max performance you tend to hear the Velcro slip, making that almost tearing noise that removes any confidence. So with regards to the Element 26 self locking belt it’s the best of both worlds. It’s very support for what ever kind of rep range/ Max 1 rep lifts you are doing but at the same time you almost forget your wearing it as it’s that comfy. The self locking mechanism takes a few attempts to get it right when you first use the belt but once you have it’s very easy and releases between sets very quickly. So well done on designing a belt that for me covers all bases.

I have had one for two years. Velcro is now getting a little tired but it still holds soso. Locking bar works as new. Fits pretty true to the chart. If in doubt size down. I got a medium and it fits fine. Zero complaints. But maybe a small would have been more optimal. Would by again.

I got the belt a while back and I must say, having tried multiple belts over the years, included a lever powerlifting belt, the element 26 belt has boosted my confidence. it fits extremely well, can be adjusted very easily and is very stylish. now to see if it stands up to heavy use and lots of reps. with the amount of velcro on it and the locking mechanism, I doubt it'll ever fail while lifting. I ordered a large, I'm 5'8" and 225 lbs and it fits very well with room left to spare. I'm sure I could gain or lose 20 lbs and it would still fit.

Habe nichts anderes erwartet bei dem Produkt, da ich mich vorher informiert und lange überlegt habe. Mein Lieblingsgürtel bis jetzt! Absolutes Favorit, vor allem für Leute, die nicht auf die schweren Ledergürtel stehen. Sehr einfach und erfüllt seinen Zweck!

O cinturão é ótimo para treinar pesado! A união entre fechamento por presilha e velcro tornam ele extremamente resistente e não abre por nada. Mesmo sendo caro para um brasileiro, se vc quer algo que vai durar bastante e te dar confiança para levantar aquelas cargas absurdas eu indico totalmente!

Good quality, a bit tricky to find the right technique in the beginning to tighten the belt properly. Managed after watching couple of videos.
