TombowRemovable Mono Adhesive with Dispenser

I didn't find the way you hold this to use it intuitive, even after reading instructions. Once I figured it out tho (the little flippy plastic bit that protects the sticky edge should be towards the paper!), it applies well. It goes on best if *don't* pull it across the paper slowly. A quick, steady movement is best.Previously, I was using a scotch repositionable tape runner. I'm using adhesive to adhere blocks of sticky notes to a plastic planner "dashboard", for easier storage/use. The scotch adhesive didn't like to stick to the existing sticky area on the sticky notes, but it would stick to the plastic I was putting the note blocks on just fine. This tombow adhesive layers over existing adhesive just fine, but doesn't stick to the plastic as well as the scotch adhesive did, so I only gave the tombow 4 stars. But it sticks to paper *perfectly*. Doesn't go anywhere until you peel it up, but endlessly repositionable. So if you're only going to use it to stick paper to paper, bump it to a solid 5 stars.I'm gonna stick with the tombow, because there's no refills available for the scotch, even tho the applicator is clearly refillable, and 3 refills for the tombow costs about the same as one runner of the scotch, plus it's less wasted plastic. Maybe if I clean the plastic dashboard with rubbing alcohol first , the tombow will stick to it better....

I started doing a bit of "scrap booking" with my writing - I print pretty color pictures and put them in my journal.I didn't appreciate the "removable" feature until I realized either I had to accept the fact that the pictures I put on are sometimes crooked (I'm a perfectionist.), live with ripped edges / paper (did I mention I'm a perfectionist?), or reprint the pictures and try it again... And of course rewrite whatever I had written... ARRGH!! If I kept on reprinting, my ink cartridges usage were going to get higher / more expensive.These are AWESOME!! You can remove the picture cleanly and reposition it. The adhesive is strong enough that you can reposition pictures even after several days. And it comes off cleanly - just rub the adhesive off with your fingers and poof! It's gone. It's strong enough that you don't have to worry about the picture coming off. It's very easy to use. I buy the refills which keeps the cost down as well.I highly recommend this item to anyone who has scrapbooking hobby, school / art project, or for any other uses you have.
