Damaged panel
I had planned to use the black panel but when the box arrived, the black panel had a deep cut (not a shallow scratch) running across the top. Thankfully there were still 3 more panels in the box and if I'm honest, the one I chose is probably a more harmonious fit with the rest of my furniture anyway. The stand looks good and my 55inch TV is well supported. All in all, a good outcome - luckily.

Does the job but it is expensive
I brought this from another retailer. It took me over 3 hours to put together but it would have been a lot easier if I had have someone to help me. It comes with 2 boards which are double coloured, one is black on one side and white on the other and the other board is walnut on one side and oak on the other. The instructions are difficult to follow and the pictures don't make it clear that both back boards have to be fitted. This wall unit will fit TVs in sizes from 30" to 90". The two glass shelves just lay on the unit, there is no screwing them to the unit. The upper shelf has suction cups that hold the top glass shelf in place where as the bottom shelf just lies on little cushion pad things that stick to the bottom of the unit. TVs with VESA mounting holes range from 100x50 up to 600x400.Now the downside: This unit looks amazing but I think it is over priced. Should be retailing at £130 not over £230. And if you want to change the colour of the back board you have to remove the TV, both glass shelves, turn the stand upside down, remove the upper shelf supports, loosen two screws before you can even slide the boards out. This is a hassle in the extreme.Other than that I highly recommend this stand if you don't want to mount the TV to the wall or you aren't allowed to drill into the wall if you are renting.
