Good idea, terrible implementation for household
The irony is that hardware does the job, and it does have adjustable thickness. However, it is a pain in the ... to use in in the household, because, patties stack in the press and there is no spring plungers to release them easy, moreover, it is a pain to wash it after use - actually assemble and disassemble, and finally, the second press most likely will not be useful due to close proximity to the first one.

Worlds worst hamburger press
NO easy removal of meat. Sticks to the '?slippery' coating.A number 2 can of peas with lids removed worked faster then this 'junk' press.I retured this junk same day received!!!
