What is the weight limit?

I am sorry I do not remember the weight limit. I know it is made stronger and is wider than the one that came with our big swing set. I only got it to have 2 when both or granddaughters are here they both want one at the same time. Sorry I can't give the weight though.

What is the max weight for this bar

I bought this for my 2 grandchildren to Hang on their swing set and they loved it. I am not sure about the weight though but they were 8 and 9 years old and it held them easily- one at a time!

would this be compatable with the Rainbow swing set?

It will work, considering that some Rainbow sets come with a trapeze. One point of note is that this bar is 20" wide and the chains are about 18 1/2" apart. I mention this because some trapeze's are only 17" wide. If you are replacing an existing trapeze, you might check the chain hooks spacing in the top frame. It is best to have chains parallel or preferably slighty wider at the top to prevent swinging sideways. If you are using this trapeze in place of an existing swing seat, you should have no problem.
