These are very large and tricky plants to grow in our climate as they take some time to reach maturity and usually do not survive hard frost. As I do not even know what part of the country you live in or what size plans you ordered It is not possible to give growing instructions here in a paragraph or two but the supplier I used has a website with a lot of very useful advice www.echiumworld.co.uk. Hi the Large hole is the common 35mm seed cubes and are normally sold in trays of 24,35 or 77 if you use root riots you also need the large hole , the small holes are 25mm and sold only in trays of 150 ( they fall apart quite easy due to the size)
