I had ribs and chicken that were prepared with this rub at Christmas at my daughters house. My son-in-law is an accomplished griller and smoker of all sorts of meats. I was impressed with the flavor and it is my SIL's "go to" rub, so I ordered it. I smoke mostly chicken and every so often some ribs or a brisket. I'll be using it on those meats. Before ordering, I checked the 1, 2, and 3 Star reviews and am pleased to report that some issues that had been reported have been fixed by the maker of this rub. 1. People reported that it did not come in a shaker container, but it does now. See pic's. 2. People reported that the container opened up during shipping. It now ships with a heavy duty plastic band around the top of the container that prevents the top from coming off. Totally pleased with the taste of the product and the container/packaging. 5 Stars.

A friend of mine who barbecues professionally suggested this and I’m glad he did. It taste so good on pork and chicken. It sticks really well on the meat. It doesn’t taste like anything artificial. It’s just a nice deep, smoky paprika kind of seasoning. It’s really good. It’s not real sweet either.

This rub has excellent flavor, especially on pork and chicken. The reason I give it 4 stars is because the bottle doesn't have a shaker top like other rubs provide resulting in uneven coverage if you're not careful.

Purchased this rub to be used on chicken and it worked really well, a nice amount of cherry wood added amazing flavour to this rub. Well worth the money.
