Is this compatible with 8k@120hz hdmi cable?

Sorry, it does not support 8k@120hz HDMI cable.

Do remotes from other devices interfere with this switch?

I can't say that no remotes will interfere with this switch, but I have used it with an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Insignia TV Remote, Chromecast with Google TV Remote, Sony DVD/Blueray Player Remote, Cable TV/DVR Remote, and even an old VHS Tape Player Remote and none of them have caused any problems with this switch. I have been very happy with this switch.

I have roku stick+ and firetv connected to it, however roku resets intermittently quite a bit, any recommendations?

Please change Roku to a different input port. If the issue persists, please contact us directly for further assistance.

can this be used without the power adapter?

No, the power adapter (included in package) is needed.
