Can o conect a heat ? 1500w

No, this 200W power inverter provides 200W continuous DC to AC power output, 400W surge capacity. 1500W heat is beyond the capability of this 200W inverter. We suggest you consider our 2000W high power inverter.

Will this run a small rv fridge ?

It should if the fridge is electric. Most small fridges only require abou 50 watts when running. If you are running a gas fridge with an electric element, I would use an inverter rated at 400 watts to be safe, altuyou probably dont need that much. Worst case scenario though is that it only costs about $25 to try if you experiment and burn out the inverter

A few seconds after I turn it on, the red light comes on and the power gets shut off. I am using the clamp connectors. Why is it shutting off?

The red light indicates a fault. I kept getting the same thing and returned the inverter.
