We have a small 15 pound Havanese pooch. He loves to chew but we’ve always been afraid to give him things that he could either choke on or even more so cause a blockage, things like rawhide chews or products made in foreign countries with who knows what ingredients. The chews for small dogs are a perfect size for Tango, big enough but not too big, it’s still a challenge for him, still of course need to watch them whenever they’re chewing on anything! I generally let him eat around a half of one every other day, don’t want him to get too many calories. I’ve concluded that there’s no perfect edible chew toy, there’s always the risk of chocking, but these made in Lancaster, Pa chews with minimal ingredients that is fully digestible seem to be the best I’ve come across, they are a bit pricey however. My Yorkie loves these treats! He barks at me to follow him to the pantry and when I take out the package, he jumps up and down to show I got it right; that’s what he wants. Since his Vet thought he might have a chicken allergy, I avoid products with chicken. This product is easy to use, gives him a good chew, and doesn’t affect his health. However, it does make him thirsty so I always make sure he has access to water.

My dogs absolutely love these. Nice treat and healthy for them. Last about 2 to 3 days so good value for your money!

We recently tried a pack of digestible peanut butter-flavored raw hides for our dogs, and the results were a bit of a mixed bag. One of our corgis initially liked them, but after a while, he lost interest and didn’t seem to want to chew on them anymore. On the other hand, our other corgi was all in—she loved them and would devour one in about 40 minutes!One of the biggest selling points for me is that these raw hides are digestible. I appreciate that they are a safer alternative to traditional raw hides, which can pose digestive issues for some dogs. Knowing that what my pets are chewing on is easier on their stomachs gives me peace of mind. However, I do wish they lasted longer; something like yak cheese tends to keep them occupied for much longer and provides a more satisfying chew.While they may not be a hit with both dogs, I still think they offer a good option for dogs that enjoy a longer-lasting chew. If you have a pup that loves to chew these could be worth a try. Just keep in mind that individual preferences may vary, as I’ve seen in my own dogs.
