No Warranty and Faulty Product

The control panel failed after 45 days, just 15 days past the return window. Filed a warranty claim with the manufacturer and in a very delayed response, they indicated since in was purchased on Amazon, it is not covered under warranty. The seller indicates they are authorized dealer for the manufacturer and it should be covered. I am now stuck in the middle with faulty product that cost almost $1K. So frustrating.
