Seems good
Purchased this light for my bonsai and succulent plants as they werenโt getting enough natural light. This one seemed to be the best quality for the price. Itโs sturdy, easy to mount and the light is bright yet pleasant (not blueish like some of the multi LED grow lights which can give people headaches) My only issue is that the timer function is pretty basic. It resets if you unplug the power and only tracks the time based on when you first turned it on. So in order to get it to turn on at 6am every day for example, you would have to make sure you turn it on at that time. And if you unplug the light you would have to do this process again. A bit annoying. Other than that everything is good. Hopefully my plants like it.

alright for the price
This light has 4 brightness settings from 6 watt to 10 watt to 16 watt to 20 watt which is great as it is hard finding cheaper smaller low powered LED grow lights . They are usually 100 watt + which is complete overkill for one house plant that needs a bit of winter light to survive. If one only uses one bulb this unit can produce as little as 3 watts of light which should still be enough to grow 4 little plants or several bigger ones with 20 watt. I was using 10 watt Ikea grow bulbs before this lamp but Ikea bulbs including a light socket to fit them costs ยฃ14 each. This light from the power draw is the equivalent of 2x Ikea bulbs (although 2 ikea bulbs are considerably brighter to the human eye) and only costs a fraction more. Looks far more elegant - have ordered myself another to replace my other Ikea lamps. Time will tell how good the spectrum is but looks very similar to my best and most expensive COB I have. There is only one downside to this lamp otherwise it would have received 5 stars. You cannot use it with a timer, it won't turn on. You have to use the inbuilt timer which can only be set to 12 hours so if you want a 14 hour light this one will be no good. Update: After using this light for a few months I am thoroughly impressed. Orchids are growing really well and I think flowering more than before. For the price and the results I am getting this is a far superior light than most others on Amazon. The plants are really appreciating the full spectrum over red+blue lamps.

very powerful and flexible...
as an entry level player to hydroponic growing i must say that these lamps are more than good. they are extremely bright with four different dimming levels plus the timing options. are really well made and the clamping mechanism is more than sufficient. my pak choi, parsley, cilantro and basil grew really well right up to harvest. if you are a relative newcomer to plant lighting and just wanted to get started. i cannot recommend these enough! well impressed! regards.

Well, it's 22W not 75W
The 75W claim is a little ridiculous; they're supplied with a 12V 2A DC power supply which can deliver a maximum of 24W by definition, and if you read the small print on the listing this is acknowledged - the 75W is meant to convey a luminous flux (total light output) equivalence to 75W High Pressure Sodium or Metal Halide bulbs as used in old style grow lights, which are naturally less popular these days due to low efficiency and the current historically high electricity costs. My actual measurement shows a max power draw of 22-23W from the mains. There's a little power lost in the power supply and some in the controller switch (both of which are warm to the touch) so let's charitably call it 20W total at the two lamps - now you know. As for the "full spectrum" claim, I have no way to check it here - the light has a yellow cast, but if these are the claimed Cree Chip On Board emitters, it's probably true. And having said all that, I actually like the lights; the swan necks and dual heads make them literally flexible to use and the table clamp works on the little projection of a window cill lip. The 3/6/12Hour timers are OK, but some would prefer a morning & evening mode which these don't have. There's only really any point in using them at full power, but there are four power levels if you want them - why? - it saves electricity with 6/11/17/23W on offer, but the light is correspondingly weaker and there's no growing advantage I can see to the weaker light. At full power the bulb heads get pretty warm to the touch - not quite hot, but close. Not sure if it's possible to wire out the timers so I can use an external power switch to have full power light on and off twice a day - there may be some LED driver tech in there they can't do without; I'll find out later.

Good supplemental lighting
Timer and power functions that are built into this unit can clash with wall timers regularly used for indoor grows. If I turn my timer off twice in short succession, the light does not come on automatically the second time. The mount clamp is somewhat inconvenient if you don't have a suitable place to mount it. But if you find a way to mount it, it's a good sturdy light with good gooseneck fixtures. Low wattage and reasonable lighting. Well designed heatsink. Can touch without burning after hours of use

Nice easy to look at grow lights
The lights arrived on time and seem to be in perfect condition. They produce a nice softer light which is easier to look at rather than purple lights, so it's really good for my terrarium that's in my bedroom. The clamp is also very handy, it has a bar that moves in and out so it's easy to tighten up in awkward places. The clamp even holds the light on the edge of the table, which is very handy! Seems like a really good quality light.

Flexible bright lamp
Great economical packaging and it got delivered quickly. I have been using this lamp for a couple of months now and it is one of the most practical grow lamps I own. The clamp makes it easy to attach. However, the only possibility of attaching the lamp is using the clamp which restricts you in the possibilities where you can place the lamp. It must always be on the edge of a table or shelve, but it is not possible to fit it to a wall or place it on the middle of a table. The switch works intuitive and the buttons have a satisfying click. The flexibility of the necks is of good quality and you can bend it in almost every angle you want. Timer on the lamp itself is practical as it can turn the lamp on automatically. When the lamp is plugged into a timer switch it will not turn on automatically. This is something to keep in mind but doesnโt require you to buy a separate timer switch which saves some money. Downside of this lamp is that the lights get very hot and you can burn your skin on it. You cannot touch them after they've been turned on for a while.

Seems to be helping etiolated cacti - much better than cheap LED lamps
My cacti weren't getting enough light and looked etiolated - this was most noticeable with the bunny ears whose new ears/pads were coming up really skinny (photo 1 - middle & right pads). Once I realised what was wrong I bought a cheap LED grow lamp (also reviewed), but soon realised it wasn't helping so I decided to try this one instead. As you can see from photo 2, the pads that started growing after I bought this lamp are much fatter and healthier looking. I've also added a picture of my skinny fluffy cactus (no idea what it's called - let's call it 'Fred'). As you can see from photo 3, Fred has a skinny baldish patch about 1cm from the top, but within a couple of weeks of placing him under this lamp, Fred sprouted a blonde mop to rival 80s punk/pop sensation Billy Idol's. I can only conclude that this lamp is giving my plants what they need, so was well worth the extra that it cost over its cheaper LED rival. In addition, this lamp feels much sturdier than my other one - the rubberised coating over its 'arms' means they hold their position better, and the little clamp means it can be mounted on a wider varity of surfaces than my cheaper lamp which has a spring clip. I don't use the timer but have tried it out and it works fine.
