How does this taste in coffee?

We use this in coffee every day and it tastes very good. However, it’s much much better if you combine this with granulated monk fruit sweetener. We buy a bag of each and combine them one to one in a large jar. It is our go-to coffee sweetener every morning.

Is this powdered (preferred for dissolvability) or granular (harder to dissolve; tends to stay granular)?

The product NOW Organic Non-GMO Erythritol has the texture of sugar and dissolves readily in warm drinks. It does not dissolve so readily in cold drinks similar to sugar. I usually combine the aforementioned product with pure Birch Xylitol (a bit coarser texture) in recipes (combine both in a food processor for improved dissolvability and taste). Hope this is helpful.

can you bake with it?

It can re-crystallize when it gets cold so reheating can get rid of the grainy texture that forms when the baked good cools. Also, the cooling sensation uou might get when eating it may be ( not sure if this will work) abated by creaming the sweetener with the butter or fat before baking (mixing the two together first for a while).

You’ll love cooking with this!

Works wonderfully for a virtually zero carb cheesecake! I used coarse ground almonds, almond flour, erythritol, eggs, and butter for the crust. Whipped egg whites folded into whipped cream cheese and erythritol for the filling. Bake for an hour and let it cool in the oven! Rave reviews.
