Poor focus on actual exam content. Misleading and frustrating.
My employer required me to take this exam. This book just OK. The exam content and the book are not totally aligned. The exam is far more in depth than the book goes into. I did pass, but I had to retake after I ran through practice exams from MeasureUp.com. After I did those and re-read chapters I was OK.

Great book and good style
The questions at the end of each chapter are helpful in giving focus to the topic details.

Doesn't cover most of the exam
This book seems to cover less than 10% of the material found in the official Microsoft practice exam. I would skip the book and simply work off links in the practice exam.

It is what I bought.
I used this book and passed the exam. I want give the book more than 25% of the credit, however. The book does have pages and words on the pages. The words are about Microsoft and I did buy the MD-100 and MS-100 books too.

MS-100: Orin did it again, amazing book!
This is not the first book I’ve bought of Orin’s collection over the years, but this book has everything you need to pass the MS-100 exam - I passed the exam in the first try! This book + experience you should have no issue either. Keep me coming Orin, I’ve been following you for a very long time and hopefully I will get to see you at a session at Ignite this year. Great job!

Great base but it's not the only resource you need!
This book covers the main points of ms-100 really well it can be read quickly and easily and really covers the major points! What I would say is this does just cover the facts. The exam has scenarios that don't always click with just a page of facts.Also as of late 2020 the exams include more Threat protection, deployment and EMS questions that this book does not cover!This will get you a long way but you need more along side it

Ideal study guide
Great book covering all the core aspects you need to be familiar with, also has links to Microsoft Doc resources covering the topics in more detail.

there was a hole in the package allowing dampness and dirt to get to the book
a small amount of damage was done to the book due to a hole in the package which allowed dampness and dirt to get in and mark the book at the bottom

The only source of study that you need to pass the exam along with practice of using M365, would highly recommend.
