Good Product even for beginners
I have never used fondant and had no idea how much area this one package would cover. I needed an 8x8 two layer cake covered with one inch squares. I ordered three packages. Because of the amount of each color I needed I had to open two boxes but I did not need all the packages from the boxes. The fondant was easy to work with, it was soft and tasted nice, very light vanilla sugar taste, the taste is like candy corn but the texture is soft and pliable. I would offer this advice, use a marble rolling pin, it worked well because it was cold and heavy so it smoothed down easily. Also work in an air conditioned room or do it in the early morning or late evening when its cool out, warm areas make it harder to work with. I used coco powder to dust the rolling surface for the black, and brown and used powdered sugar for the pink. I then used a paper towel to dust off the extra, it did show a bit. Im sure there is a way to lessen this but for my cake it was fine. I rolled out two black, two dark brown, one light brown and one pink. I did not use them all but needed a bit more of the two colors to fill in specific areas. I would use this product again.

a little disappointed
I bought the product and the colours are beautiful and it arrived speedily, but boy are the packets small! Ok so the weight checks out. I just somehow imagined it to be a bit bigger. It's a bit pricey and I would think twice before purchasing it again.

perfect fondant
The natural colors are amazing. The taste is nice and it is easy to use. I had no problem to cover my cake with it even though it was the 1st time I used fondant.
