๐ Dive into Adventure with TUSASF-0107!
The TUSA hyflex switch Pro offers a 20% stiffer blade compound for the advanced diver. The purimax "polyurethane blade system" generates great forward propulsion and provides a quick "snappy" Response to the diver's every movement. TUSA unique "vortex generator" effectively reduces water resistance through the fin stroke normally found on traditional smooth blades. Review: Bubbles - These work great have traveled to other countries with them. Makes it so easy. Always get comment on them, people are amazed when they see them Review: Tulsa dive fins - Been looking for Tulsa fins for over a year and decided to buy when these were on sale. They are just as described. Foot pocket is big so you do have to buy dive boots for these fins. I have a 10 1/2 foot size and got the large fins. Fit perfect with a cressi 7mm dive boot. Also like that you can disassemble these to fit in a carry on. Great purchase!

Tusa fins
I love the look of the fins. I have not tried them out yet. I like the fact they can be taken apart.

Great fins terrible straps
They're actually really nice fins... probably the best in the rather small travel fin world. But it should be noted that these are not typical travel snorkeling fins. These are dive fins so you'll need a bootie otherwise your foot will be very loose in the pocket. My main problem is with the strap. On the very first dive it broke. I was able to tape it back at the dive shop and it was good enough to finish my trip. When I returned them to Amazon I got the exact same fin as a replacement. To my surprise the new fins came with an entirely different strap. My issue with this is it came with an old 1990's type strap. Not the segmented Tusa buckle type. Just a solid piece of plastic that feels very cheap and no information on how to operate it. After my experience with the fragility of the first modern type strap I was wary of breaking the old type but there is no information on the internet on how to open it. I immediately ordered replacement string straps so this added another 45$ to the cost of ownership. For over 200$ fins I kind of expected better. They work wonderfully for diving and are easy to travel with but they are brought down to 3 stars because of the straps.

Fantastic travel fins, but you'll need boots!
Honestly, I have these second hand. But, I loved them so much I had to stop by to give a review. There are a few things I don't love, but lets start with why I bought them. I travel a lot, but I only take a carry-on bag. I don't want to check luggage to have it go missing. There are a few 'travel fins' out there, but they hardly qualify as a fin...so small with no thrust. These fit in my carry on with room to spare...not much room, as I have to take booties with me. But, the places I'm going don't require a lot of clothes or shoe options...so, I just pack a few outfits around the fins/boots. The Pro version of this fin is a little more stiff than the original, but they still aren't super rigid. I don't have the strongest legs, but I still found these comfortable and powerful enough that I really hit my head on the edge of the pool when trying these out the first time. Oh, I wear a size 12 medium shoe...the L/XL fit me just fine, even with the booties. Another thing to note (could be a pro or a con), these fins are a slightly negative in buoyancy. If you were to drop one why getting in the boat, you'd have a bit of time to catch it before it sank. But, they're not heavy enough to keep your feet from being too floaty. The NEGATIVES....the screws are easy to drop. So, when you are putting these together, do it over a towel. The screws require a three mm allen wrench...again, super easy to drop or loose. So, I'd tuck another one in my bag/luggage. The next thing isn't the fin's fault, but somebody out there is going to buy these thinking they can wear them bare foot. That's a huge mistake. You'll need a pair of boots with these. (If you don't want to wear booties, I'd suggest the Aqualung Storm...even then, I'd wear a nylon swim sock.) Would any of these negatives stop me from getting these again? Nope. They're amazing. The only pair of fins that tempted me a little was the Scubapro Super Novac as they also can be broken down for travel. But, they are SO SO SO expensive!
