Bombproof fuel bottle
Solid Fuel bottle. I had read review where the plastic was thin, but it is pretty stout. Mine is the .3L which equates to about 10oz and is the size you would want for backpacking using a trangia, unless you are doing extended trips. It will hold Denatured Alcohol, gas, or kerosene. While not stated, I would assume this would be safe for most any petroleum product, but I know that diesel is stored in yellow containers so that it is not mixed up which may be why they do not list it and other products. The valve is very good. I like that it screws down to put pressure on the seal and that makes it virtually spill proof while stored and free flowing when in use. It also has a metal ring around the threads to keep them from warping. It adds a little weight if you are going for lightweight, but it adds to the durability. The valve has two spouts so that it can vent. This is good and bad. With the free flow design, if you tip it over all the way, it will come out both sides if the fuel level allows. If you have more than half a bottle you will want to open the valve before you start tipping it and only tip as far as needed. If you tip it all the way, it will come out the top spout until a vacuum is formed and it starts sucking air. The other option is to keep your finger over the top spout. This is not a big deal, it just takes a little common sense or some experience to figure it out. In the directions on the bottle, it does show depressurizing the bottle before tipping it over. On a hot day, this is definitely a good idea or you may have fuel coming out with some force and have a mess. The red screw top can spin all the way off, so be careful not to lose it. It shouldn't be that big a deal since you don't need to screw it that far for it to operate correctly, but just a heads up. I would hate to lose it in the middle of a trip and have the possibility of fuel leaking everywhere. It also has a small loop as part of the valve to attach it to something. I don't know that it is trustworthy enough to hang the bottle off of, but it might be. It could definitely be used to help secure it so that it cant jump out of a pocket or something. This valve will not fit other types of fuel bottles well. Some people have forced it and made it work a time or two, but the threads do not match up and it ends up leaking.

Way better than a plastic soda bottle
Headline pretty well sums it up. This bottle and pour spout is much easier to use than the soda bottle or HEET bottle I was using before. Pouring fuel into the Trangia burner is far easier, it won't come open when inside or strapped to the outside of my pack. This bottle is STURDY, I don't worry about puncturing it like I did with the soda bottles. The seals are meant for alcohol use, so no concerns about a seal on a soda bottle going wonky and spilling fuel(aka my coffee and non-crunchy pasta) when miles from civilization either. Possible downside is weight. I'm not lugging the kitchen sink into the back country, but I also don't do long hikes and I'm not cutting the handle off my toothbrush to save 0.3 grams. If that's you, the soda bottle is probably a better bet. These bottles will also work with gasoline and kerosene. US law changed and so this kind of bottle can't be advertised for gasoline use anymore, but it's exactly the same bottle from before the law change, and is still used with kero and gasoline in the rest of the world. YMMV, this is not medical or legal advice, insert standard disclaimer here, etc etc. One last thought, the .3l bottle has been great for single day or overnight hikes and is of course the lightest. Longer than that and I'd want a bigger fuel bottle. We like our coffee and tea and boil a lot of water. If you're just heating up coffee water or something on a day hike, then as long as the O-ring seal in your burner cap is good you probably don't need to carry any extra fuel at all. Five stars, wish I had bought it sooner. Edit: Just bought the 1L version. Should have bought it when I bought the 0.3l version!

High quality item for not much money
Thought this thing might have looked a little flimsy in the pictures but got it of the box and was very surprised...it's solid and very well made. Filled it up and set it upside down all night just to see if it would even leak a drop. Nothing. Not one single drop. Only thing is, is that I bought the big bottle, but I'm solo camping, so I kind of wish I got the smaller bottle because the bigger size is pretty big. But that was my own fault. This thing is dope to the max, yall!!!!!

Pretty good.
Iโve used similar containers for alcohol and white gas, but this is the first with a built in spout. The day I received it I filled it with k-1 kerosene and let it sit for a few days (with no problems). Then I used it to fill a small lantern and it works pretty well, no leaks. So that makes it pretty handy. And the price is pretty good as well, the other containers have been more expensive. Great purchase.

Another item proving that the Swedes know what they're about outdoors!
Now that I've had a few months to play with it, I can report that it's held up to weekly use through two seasons without developing any cracks, leaks, or other issues. The metal reinforcing ring around the bottle's neck lets you torque the spout cap nice and tight without risk of cracking the neck. The spout screws into the bottle with a very slightly tapered threading, like pipe fittings. It just doesn't leak at all! In time, perhaps the methanol and ethanol fuels I use might dry the o-rings in the neck and internal spout fittings, but they're common sizes and easily replaced. It's holding up very well with frequent use, usually carrying yellow-bottle Heet as my Trangia fuel. I mostly use an ISO butane stove for backpacking, but when camping in my truck it's nice to have a quieter Trangia-type burner that doesn't cost as much to run. That burner needs fuel, and this bottle holds and dispenses it perfectly. It's just the right size - holds 10 ounces, enough for a solo woods weekend in mild weather, taking in 2 hot freeze-dried meals per day and a nice cup of coffee in the morning. There are bigger sizes, but I like a small, light pack and this is the perfect balance. I have a few $6 Vargo 8 ounce squeeze bottles, which are fine provided I add an o-ring into the lid to prevent leaks, but I either have to make pack space for 2 of them, or give up the morning coffee.

More than a simple plastic bottle
This is a well-designed fuel bottle intended for storing and pouring fuel. The information on the bottle indicates its use for alcohol or kerosene. It is not meant to be pressurized. The wide mouth makes it easy to fill and see the recommended fill line and the pour valve securely closes to prevent leakage. The narrow pour spouts will prevent spills when filling a stove. This is probably the best made fuel bottle available.
