Good cover, no water stagnating on top of the pool cover!
This pool cover is too large for my pool but it is the only one cover I could find with the ties & the drainage holes. This is actually my third purchase of this cover. The first one ripped in a bad storm and it would always fly up in high winds exposing the pool. The plastic straps they provide do not work that well. They slide up the pole when there is some water weight on top. The next season I purchased another & used twine to loop through the grommet holes in the cover & tie to the strap going around the pool. Considering the amount of ties I had that thing had better not fly up. Sure enough, it did not fly up even once in the wind & no water gathered on the top. However, it did stretch to produce some holes around the plastic holes due to our unusually snowy winter. I think it will still be usable this year, but a purchased another out of fear the cover would be discontinued. It was already at the reduced price. I love the drainage holes. No water stagnating on top of the pool. I did have a small amount of debris in the pool but nothing to get upset over. I do wish they made this smaller, but it does the job well.

Cover WILL work - use VELCRO!!!
Like many of you, I read through reviews to see if this pool cover was worth buying. We have the 10' Summer Waves pop up pool and it works perfectly. Some advice to help the cover work perfectly:1.) Buy industrial strength velcro!!! I purchased the brand Stronghold in the 2" and it worked great.2.) Place the cover over the pool where you want it to stay in place.2.) Put 1 piece of velcro on the poles facing out (you don't have to put it on every pole, but for more stability you can).3.) The matching piece of velcro will go on the INSIDE of the cover.* Make sure you place the velcro on the pole LOW enough so the cover will be tight on the pool.* To help water from pooling in the center, we kept floaties with a beach ball in the center to give the cover some height from underneath.* Don't pull too hard on the cover, it definitely isn't super durable, and when it's in the sun, it will stretch, maybe ripping it accidentally. Be careful...Hope this helps!!! Definitely a good cover, but the string to tie it securely around the perimeter of the pool will not be enough.

INTEX 18ft. Pool Cover
The INTEX pool cover was exactly as it was advertised. It has a great fit and it securely fastened down as we had hoped. Installation was much easier with two persons. It would be rather difficult to do alone. It is made with holes in it to allow water drainage, preventing water from standing on the surface, so some debris does sift down into the pool. Overall it was a good choice for our needs. We feel the value is very good for the price. The durability will be determined after successive uses. We recommend this product!

Works great!
We ordered the 15 ft for our 15 ft intex pool. At first it seemed too tight to stay on but once the pool was full of water and it floated and stretched after a few days, it works great! It has drain holes for when it rains and we added a few clamps around the sides to ensure nothing slips. Weโve tried lots of different options but so far this cover has been perfect. This photo is after a big rain storm.

Waste of money
A few months ago, I noticed my old cover looking like it needed replacing, so I ordered a new one, at the same price, but from a different company. A few days ago, I changed out the covers, laying out the new one to warm up and stretch out. It still comes nowhere close to reaching over the edges, so when I pull one side, it comes off the other. Do you have any clue how annoying/frustrating/infuriating it is to play a stupid game of tug of war with yourself where you are walking back and forth, pulling as lightly as possible, and the piece of human excrement just keeps pulling off the other side? So I decided to clip it to the vinyl, which makes it about a foot less diameter, plus the cover doesnโt have to go over any edges, so it should reach easily, right? No it doesnโt. In fact, I go back out and the pool cover now has 8 holes ripped in each of those spots. Not only is the cover not able to reach the edge of the pool, but the quality sucks so bad, it tears, even with the use of wide rubber clips. My old one has clips in it from where I attached the straps for the cover reel, and it still never ripped, despite hundreds of times being pulled on as it reeled in and out. Donโt buy this piece of trash. Iโm so mad I didnโt try it out sooner so i could return it. I might spend the postage to send it back anyways. I miss the time where people actually took pride in their product and didnโt use lies, blatantly inaccurate photos, and amazon to cheat people out of their hard earned money. I thought, as a middle man, it was amazonโs job to ensure the customers werenโt getting scammed.

Decent cover for the price. A few considerations, but overall OK and gets the job done.
We have an intex 10' x 30' pool with the metal frame. We used a 12 foot round cover previously. Overall, I think we preferred that one because of how much more room you have on the edges that overlap. This cover has small holes between the size of a dime or nickle around the first two or three feet from the edge and they're spaced pretty far in between. The middle has a few more placed closer together. It is mainly to help the water back into the pool when it gathers. It will keep lighter debris from the pool. I wouldn't recommend this type of cover (with holes in it) if you have an extremely dusty or area with a lot of small debris that will gather on the cover. The main reason being is that it will end up getting some of it mixed back in with the pool water and you'll have to deal a bit more with cleaning it out. For those type of areas, i'd recommend one of the other covers that has no holes.Another thing, I think others mentioned is that it doesn't sit as tightly around the pool as in the picture. It is doable, but it's likely not to stay that way because it will stretch a little anyway and the heat will help with that. We use a small water inflatable boat (for toddlers....you can find them at the dollar store), it's about 2 feet by 3 feet in size- and place it in the center before we put the cover on. It helps the water only gather to the sides and makes it a little easier to handle when water gathers, either from rain or from the pool water coming up from the holes in the cover. It has a seam on it that is supposed to fit around where the metal frame of the pool is, but unless you get this thing pretty tight with the draw string, it's not going to sit like that. When water gathers, as it does noted earlier, you'll find that the seam tends to pull in toward the pool more, thus making the sides come up higher. As the sides come up, more water gathers and the cover starts to go under more....needless to say, if you baby it a little you'll be ok.I did have the same issue as others, the hole where the drawstring comes out ripped from trying to pull it much tighter. I'd think you might want to pull it tighter OFF of the pool- especially after letting it sit in the sun for a really short while....just to make the material a slightly more pliable/easier to work with. Just a thought.I think I am going to end up getting some plastic clamps from Harbor freight to clamp to the metal frame to help it set a little better- at least for longer periods when not being used. We only put our pool up in the summer, so it's not too much to work with this though. The pool water still gets pretty warm when the cover is on.Overall, it is a decent cover. I think with maybe a couple of metal grommets, or reinforcing, that might help it not tear when pulling tighter. It serves its purpose well and does what I expect it to do- cover the pool and keep out debris. I was aware of the holes and how much more "fitted" it would be versus a larger cover, but wanted to try it out.As a side note - our general setup and how we came to do things- for those curious about the "real use" in this review... with the 12 foot cover that had no holes, we do have a short pool ladder, so we'd use that in the center of the pool and put that cover over when not using. It made it more like a "tent" so water would simply run straight off to the sides. We also used a water pool "noodle" (another dollar store find) and cut a 4 to 5 inch piece off for each of the ladder legs so that it would be less likely to punch through the pool bottom. Since we the pool on cement, we also put down a set of those puzzle type foam mats directly under it.At any rate, I don't know if I would buy this product again yet. One other issue we had with the previous cover, the sun "cooked" the cover- that and I imagine the chlorine as well...to the point of it getting brittle and cracking. This was with 3 summer seasons of use. I've only used this cover for about 3 weeks, so I have yet to know what will happen with this one.Aside from that. for the price paid and "cost per use ratio', I'd say it will wind up well spent.Besides, my kids are having a blast in that pool regardless of what the cover is doing or not doing.

Perfect
Was a bit unsure about quality after reading previous reviews but it was a great price so I gave it a go and it is fantastic! Its thick, strong, good quality.... it's an intex brand one and my pool is a 305cm/ 10 ft/ 76cm high framed pool by summer waves .the cover that come with our pool wasnt great so we used it as a ground sheet , this new cover is completely different material, it fits perfectly over our 10ft pool , its secure with a good size edge all the way round, was very easy to put on and it dont rest on the water.... underneath I have a solor cover which is like a floating bubble wrap which I use alone to heat the pool in the day , but this top ones great for keeping the leaves from the trees off over night .... would definitely recomend
