New 100% Wool Black Top Hat

Love this hat! I have been searching for a decent top hat for a few months that won't break the bank, and this is the one. It fits well while most other hats didn't, granted I have a small head, and the wool sheds water well when it rains. Very good quality hat, though the seem on the back rim is slightly more obvious than I'd like. Other than that, great hat, would recommend to a friend and I have been thinking if buying another hat from this company.

When the hat first arrived I was very pleased with the look and quality, but I had the size wrong. This was the first time That I had to exchange anything but it went well and my new hat is great. My wife even like the way that it looks. I am a hat person, I like hats and do look good in them (not that I'm particularly hansom ). I will use this hat for Christmas festivities that we have in my town and for Steampunk events as well as just for fun. It's a great ice breaker. I've purchased a hat care kit and this hat should last my lifetime.

The very high quality craftmanship used to produce this fine hat was apparent upon arrival! Arrived in a heavy box to protect it from being crushed (unlike my 2 3/4" wrench) by the Military Postal Service. This gave crazy hat day onboard the deployed ship a touch of needed class compared to all the baseball and football team hats that were wandering around. Not only did the product arrive intact in excellent condition, but it was the perfect size! Just remember, hats like this you have to make friends with. They might be the right size, but not the right shape initially! Took wearing for about 90 hours over the course of 6 Sundays to get it to fit just right.

I ordered the size of the wearer but had to return it because it clearly wasn't going to fit. This is a hard hat with no flexibility. Since I ordered it as a gift I returned the size medium and they quickly sent me an XL, as I requested. The seller was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Better to go with too big than too small with this kind of hat. Very striking look and nice quality hat. I think he will love it.

This is the 4th hat I have purchased from this company because of their high quality and excellent service. This latest purchase is exactly like all the rest, well made, well styled, and reasonably priced for the high quality you receive. Our son loves to sport this about town, it has held up well to his wear and tear and still looks fabulous. I can recommend this without hesitation.Just so you know, I bought all these hats for around $50.00 each. I won't be purchasing anymore hats from this company until the prices come back down to reality. The hats are very well made, but I shop for bargains and at this price it no longer qualifies as such.

Yes, the hat is a bit large for me, but not by much. The biggest issue for me, as others have mentioned, is that the hat is perfectly round, instead of being more oval, which would fit a person’s head more congenially. However, with some gentle ‘shaping’ I’ve been able to mold the hat more closely to the shape of my head. Other than that, this hat is quite nice and most definitely well above the quality of a novelty item. In fact, I would be perfectly comfortable wearing this hat with formal evening attire, which I intend to do. And for the price, you can’t go wrong.

I ordered this larger than my fiance's actual hat size, but I think it's going to be too big. I read a review that said they run small, so I erred on the side of caution and ordered larger. But I guess I didn't need to. This is a very solid, well-made hat with elegant detailing. Nothing cheap looking or feeling about it. It is not an authentic hat -- that would cost in the hundreds, but it's everything I expected and more. Just wanted it for some fun wedding photos. Excellent product for the price.

The hat has the look of quality. My only concern is the large may run a bit small. At some point I might want to get a hat stretcher to help make it a bit larger or at least help insure it doesn't tighten up over time.
