Great purchase! Easy to install . Works great !!

Faulty product, no accountability from seller!
Don't buy this product. Faulty straight out the box. By the time I finished trouble shooting the 5th wheel I installed it in and realized the A/C was the problem, it was right at the 30 days of delivery date. Contacted Dometic, requesting a full replacement, they sent an e-mail stating that I needed to contact one of THEIR repair dealers and pay for it to be checked, diagnosed, and their warranty would cover the repair. They sell you a faulty A/C and expect you to pay even more for one of their contractors to say what is obvious. Then, they are only going to repair it. I BOUGHT a brand new A/C, not a repaired or refurbished one.

Would recommend
This unit arrived ahead of schedule. Pretty easy to install. Much quieter than the one we took off the RV. 2017 Bighorn 5th wheel. We live in our RV full. East Tennessee. It can get pretty hot and humid. This ac unit has done a great job to keep us cool. Now I want to replace our other ac unit in the bedroom area.

Instructions could have been a little more detailed on the wiring
Product was easy to install with the hardest part getting it on the roof. We did have an issue with the bolts that came with the unit and had to purchase longer ones from the hardware store. My only other complaint is the wiring diagram did not match with what we had from our previous unit (same brand and size) so we had to do some guessing, but in the end everything works and we have not had any issues with it.

Removed the old AC and installed this new unit, hooked up the power and controls and check the operation and worked as it should with no issues.

Replacement for original. Dropped in. Easy install. Works perfectly.

The fan blower is disconnected or broken off the blower motor upon inspetion after opening the box.
After opening the box that was poorly taped and banged up. I was inspecting the unit. The outside was not damaged but when i was inspecting the bottom side of the unit i seen the blower fan just fall loose and wobble around. No way to tell if it is broken or just not installed on the motor from assembly.

After finding the model number and long talk with cs . This unit was the replacement for our 2015 Montana.
